i am sorry that it was leaked but, you know, if someone will download it illegally, he will do it before or after the release date cause today, the music industry is facing a major problem with the illegal downloads and even Madonna new material leaked and this is happening to everyone. The album sales dropped because of that.

And because of the new mp3 players, ipods.... people are now looking more for mp3 and not to collect or buy cds like us, the fans.

 

We will buy the album but the regular people will download the material sooner or later, before or after the release.

 

what i hope is that after they listen to the album, they realize it is a great one and go buy the cd from the stores to add it to their collection

I think there is a bad and good point to the album being leaked!!

 

Its bad for all the die hard celine fans because i know most of us like myself

wont be able to resist listening to it!!!

but then we kick ourselfs because its not a surprise when we acctually buy the album!!

 

But it could also be a good thig because if some random person listens to it on youtube

then it might inspire them to buy the album

 

so it is in a way promotion!!

 

but it is a shame that some one from Team Celine has copied the tracks!! :nono:

Ugh, all of you people are so dramatic. The album was going to leak REGARDLESS if someone from Team Celine did it or not. ALL albums leak before their release! Alicia's, Britney's, Faith Hill's, Jennifer Lopez's all of them! It was going to happen whether you wanted to or not. I am actually kind of glad that it was posted on youtube. Alot of the comments are really positive, and even non-celine fans are now going to purchase the album after hearing it! Think of the positives, and not the negatives for once, and try not to be so selfish. :clap:

u r totally right. thats why i said before. it was going to happen, before or after the release, it was going to happen cause it is happening with every artist.

 

it might be one of SONY employee leaked the album. who knows?

As my TC won't work I'm downloading it now in supposed HQ. I've pre-ordered two versions anyway so it's not like I won't be getting it when it comes out. This way though I'll be able to take it away with me next week.

The album moves from 96 this morning to 67 now on UK iTunes. Alicia is at 41 but has only just been added- Celine's been doing well for nearly 2 weeks now

thats cool - The single is at number 30 today and 15 on the pop charts

I never even knew the song the orchestra was playing........

The regular edition dropped to 57 on iTunes US, and the deluxe dropped out of the top 100 altogether.

 

The album was going to leak anyway. They did a good job of keeping it from leaking until a little more then a week before the release. Some albums leak up to a month before. The leak won't hurt sales that much. People that were just going to download it would just wait til it was out and someone posted it after the release.

Ya thats wrong I ONLY heard the TeamCELINE preivew and I;m mad at my self for hearing the songs, but I Oly heard 5 and Im DONE TWO Weeks left I gotta control my self!!

Well I ain't against that tracks are on youtube coz that is promo actually, and likesome already said will widen her audience (should had been less track though).

 

But what I am against is that a folder with the entire album (including MTPH) is also for download via a link posted on youtube, and I am pretty sure it is someone of the fans (from some of these forums) since the username is somewhat revealing... I can't see the motif for a fan to spread it though...

For other people to check out and enjoy the album. The files that are circulating aren't the best quality, and have a few blips and errors in them, so ideally if someone heard and liked the album they would go out and purchase a better quality copy.
