Please don't get worked up cuzz of the cover. They changed it and on the new cover you see FAR more details from Céline: the magnificent make up, the golden something around her neck, her pose and attitude are there, too!

 

Nothing wrong with this one, either. Both are stellar and both will surely be used for different versions of the album.

Who said it's a petition?? It's just a thread with a request on an OFFICIAL Céline forum, so they're bound to listen..

 

Also, the "WoW" effect is just much less for me with this cover.... and the *attitude* is almost gone.

The other one was perfect and did the album title/theme justice.

 

But I dislike the FONT even more....it's just.....plain..

I know Celine wants to be famous for her singing instead of controversy but just that cover alone (right after the name change) started a massive buzz!

Mathias, you aren't even SURE if they won't use the old cover. We will have three album editions and each of them will have a different cover so why is it such a problem to modify the regular version with a more Celinesque look? It's still good and more detailed and most of all: you recognize Céline at once looking at it. Very modern and stylish looking. Who knows what they'll decide but I'm sure another spermonition won't help here. Not even from the official forum where they haven't assiged mods yet and surely you won't be one of them so don't tryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

 

 

I think now the cover isn't the problem cuzz it's this or that way fabulous and different. TeamCeline IS a problem since it seems like there is someone there changing covers but REFUSING to listen to fans that are crying for a FULL preview of the first single! It's pathetic we will hear the single in 4 days from another source than the official fan club. This should be our main concern and not some futile spermonitions! I say they will use BOTH covers and you will have them both on your desk: The regular version and the DVD version with full pose.

I prefer the full body shot...I liked how her body looked with her legs and everything. But I like the other one as well....I'm not really bothered either way.

No, the regular version should have the cover with the full body shot, while the Enhanced CD/DVD version should have this one. And according to..Amazon, that's the case with the latter now..so I hope it's the same with the former.

You know they won't listen anyway. I'm just glad the cover whatever pose it was, has made some buzz for the album - at least on the net. I hope fans won't get worked up cuzz of the change too much. You may prefer this or that but it's still the same photoshoot and the same attitude with mire...YES: F O C U S on certain body parts and body gadgets.

I write a e-mail to Énergie radio station here in Québec, to ask WHy they didn't play "On s'est aimé à cause". I ask them why, because in a interview, they say to Céline they will play the song because they like it a lot! The music director, Genevieve Moreau reply me, talking about "Taking Chances"....

Well this or that way the album might be a flop so what difference does a cover make here? There's no promo surrounding the release so not even casual fans of Céline won't recognize her and the album will pass by unnoticed.

I agree that this shows more details and still has that "kick @ss" attitude....dunno, but I still prefer the old cover.
