Koolan Posted January 27, 2007 at 06:34 AM Posted January 27, 2007 at 06:34 AM Yeah multi angle is a great idea, but I just dont want to miss anything that is happening on stage..and of course with a well edited show you see most of it, but of course you dont get the full impact of seeing it all come together. I mean this show has SO much going on at the same time..that one camera shot with no cutting away option for the whole show would be wonderful...but regardless I am positive they will put it all together to represent the show to its fullest potential. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>this is going to prove to be quite a challenge for the production team. Picture-in-Picture would be a nice feature during the show. I hope they take their time in the authoring/mastering. There are key moments, when everything focuses on JUST Celine...but most of the show is a full out production. Anyway, I can't wait to see what they come up with! I'm reliably told that her visit is top-secret because it's still not officially announced that she's taking over for Colosseum co-headliner Celine Dion next February. (By the way, expect the official proclamation sometime within the next six weeks.) Bette has already been out to see Celine perform and talked with her backstage. She now plans the same with Elton because she's so concerned about "Vegas Throat," the ailment that seriously affects hard working vocal chords in our dry desert climate. Bette has been reassured by the stars and the AEG Concerts West /Caesars executives that Celine's theater has special humidifier nozzles pumping moist air over the stage without anybody realizing it. Current plans call for Cher to rotate with Bette after Celine calls it quits December 15 so she can have time to add a new baby to the family and tackle a world tour. celinemaniac07 Posted January 30, 2007 at 11:46 PM Posted January 30, 2007 at 11:46 PM Hey guys...I just wanted to say, that even though I dont want to wait forever for the DVD..I guess good things go for those who wait. Well thats what is sometimes said right...well lets hope its true for this DVD. I am actually very happy that they are putting so much effort into this DVD. They are still looking for fans from Africa until April 15. They wanted all the die hard fans at the January filming. They asked what we wanted for the DVD. Heck..they even refilmed it! I remember calling back when the old DVD wasnt going to be released and a contact told me it would probably not be filmed again because of the high cost to film that kind of show. They also said if they were going to release the DVD (blonde hair) it would be after the show, but wasnt likely. That was about a year or more ago and now all these amazing new efforts have been made. I am just very happy they are trying to do something right this time. Its great to know they care enough to do the best job possible. As long as they make this DVD release spectacular and the way it should be....then waiting alittle while longer is ok with me. Quote
