It was good Celine was in good shape. - - Céline was a vocal disaster that night. Even worse than in October 2003. So they used playback on all songs.

 

There were lots of camera's but it doesn't effect anyone's view. There were also cameraman onstage but they only walked a cross stage for a couple of times so that wasn't anoying. - The show is filmed by cameras borrowed from the 60's. We will be lucky if we'll get it in colour on the actual Mini Laser Disk release.

There were quite some fans here, also from Quebec/France.

She got a standing ovation quite some times and it was far better than a "normal" night.

 

Celine was singing live the whole show, except for IW, IDAN and a part of IDAN, but everything (yes, IS too) was live. She was being careful, but nonethless gave her 200%.

 

The cameras were Sony cameras and they were quite big.

so "celine the power of my dream" - i understnad from your post that after using playback for 4 years night after night on TPOL and IACBTMN , celine finally sang those songs live yesterday - i guess we'll see when the dvd comes out

Thanks so much for the information about the show. I wish I was there for the taping, but that didn't work out. And I didn't expect any additional songs for the taping....they are capturing the show as it is now on film so unless they are adding a completely new number to the show, I didn't think they would add something just for the taping. Songs like Fever, WAWW, AL, ISSW, etc are probably already on tape. We have seen clips of all of these at one time or another so I'm sure the entire song performance has been recorded and hopefully will be included on the DVD as bonus songs or something like that.

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping for as well. I thought this would have been the perfect opportunity to add a new number seeing as they're taping five nights of shows. The good thing about that many nights of tapings is that if something were to go "wrong" they would have four other nights to choose from for the DVD. It's only day one, so I'm not going to get too disappointed. If by next week no new material or dance numbers were added I'll be VERY sad.

 

One thing I'd like to say is that it'll look pretty lame if they include the original DVD along with the show the way it is right now. People will be asking, "Why the heck did they cut out so many numbers? I'd feel ripped off if I had spent over $200 to see Celine and gotten less than someone earlier." Just my opinion.

Ramona and I saw the show last night and it's as glorious as I imagined it to be, after not seeing it for a couple of months. RDMH should have been added looooooooong time ago! It was incredible!

 

Nothing new, like the others have said.

Although disappointing I don't know why people are suddenly expecting new, or deleted, songs to be added back into the show this week. Sure I would love to see all the original songs back in especially for the taping of the DVD but it looks like it won't be happening.

 

Beside we know they already have footage of all these songs so perhaps that's why they won't add them back in this week.
