well ive said some not so nice things about the website, which they probably didnt appreciate but i only said because i care. and also i emailed them about posting pics of celine's new costumes and their response seemed a little 'cold'.

I think when the DVD finally comes out it will probably be mostly taken from the best performances from the new Jan 2007 filming. I don't think that they will edit in any footage from her 'short hair" 2003 performances or the ones from the last few years because it would look odd and not "continuous". But I HOPE they have footage from those early shows and songs no longer in the show added to the extra features of the DVD. I'd really like to see ALL of the songs included. It would not be that hard to do. Also, knowing the way things have been going with the DVD release, I think it won't be released until December 2007, since that would be great timing for the holday gift giving season.

Well that was the previous DVD..the one with the blonde hair. That one was done.. but they're re-recording everything (well the show)..

 

Btw, I hope they'll create a different cover. I would love it if they use a silhouette of Celine as a cover. Like the one on TeamCéline or the one that's one a T-Shirt in The Boutique.. That would make a magical cover..

They will not change the cover since it's one of best covers EVER magnificently capturing the essence of the show.

 

Oh and I hope y'all are all aware that the bonus on the DVD/BD will be a blond-haired Céline since the material is from the summer of 2003 which is interesting enough! And knowing Sony we will not get any more bonus than that.

And well, the DVD is now being released WAY after the CD, so their covers do not have to match. Besides, the cover of the CD didn't really help sales right? So they should change it.

Why did the cover not help the sales much? It was amazing. It still is and is all about what Vegas is. It's not majorly about elegance and stuff, it's about high energy and entertainment. The cover is perfect unless they'll use a more fitting shot of IDAN. Besides the cover ain't anything usual that the sappy Celione Dion has been always putting out the ppl think...it's not she standing there, it's not she's lying there, it's all in action. It's so good!

True, but I can think of much better shots from the show than that..

Also, she wears a different costume during IDAN now..

Well that Doc. is outdated by now, isn't it? That DVD was recorded over 2 years ago and a LOT has happened during that time.. so they'd definately want to update it. They can't just put a Doc. from 2,5-3 years ago when they're re-shooting the show and release it much later. And I'm sure we'll also get to see stuff from the Mother's Day/Tsunami Benefit show, the 500th show, unveiling of her wax statue, etc. etc. All poignant moments..

Different shots from different shows, every shot/scene.

 

So if for example one of them turns around, you see a scene from another show, then they'll zoom out or something and again another show.. and that during the whole gig. Quite annoying.

 

SO PLEASE SONY, DON'T MIX THE SHOW FROM JANUARI & THE ONE FROM 2004 TOGETHER!!
