Can someone please tell me what the "invitation to the sound check with Celine" is? do you get to meet her or something with that?

ive been to soundcheck package with justin timberlake in london @ the o2 this year, so i'll try and explain what its like.....

 

u get a few free drinks in a vip lounge like 4/5 hrs before showtime.... one of his assistants gave us about a 20 min talk about the tour, justin, what to expect in the future from the artist, and some inside stuff on the him, the tour itself and what the soundcheck package includes....

 

we were told, we would be split into groups of four with different people from the production team, and leave 10 mins apart from each other....

we would go backstage, see behind the scenes of the arena/tour, see how things are done ''lighting/visuals/sound etc'' you get to see the dancers dressingrooms, the canteen were the artist and crew eat, the green room, the artists dressingroom, you get to walk under or on the stage depending on how its designed

before soundcheck.......

and get to sit front row to watch soundcheck for 10 mins....you can take photos ''without flashes'' no recording and trust me about 13 guys ''security'' are over you're shoulder the whole time to make sure u dont film on u cameras or mobiles... and you cant call the artists name or distract them during this...

...then its back outside to the vip lounde for dinner and drinks.....and wait for the main show to arrive, in all it took 40 mins.

So guys I wanted to get front row seats BUT they were only available if you spent $500 or so and that is way to much, ( even to see Celine) but I am happy to say I HAVE 2 tickets in row n (floor seating) to see celines Montreal august 15th date!! For under $400 Wohooo her first real concert in Montréal since the Dec 31 1999!!!!!!

 

Im so excited to see her French concert, do you guys think the concert in Toronto will be any different? But I want to see her English concert also hmmmmm….

I don't know what to do. There are some concerts for which you are allowed to attend the Sound Check, but who knows whether you get to speak to her at least for a couple of seconds, and besides, they are quite expensive and you have to buy two! Then, I was thinking, if I buy the tickets today and then something changes in the future and they make some meet&greets available, I will then become extremely mad I'm pretty confused as to what to do.

Ok, I've searched through this topic --- does anyone know how you figure out what time the tickets go on sale "locally"? When I bought tickets for Vegas, it was 10am Vegas time... and 1pm my time.

 

And am I right in assuming that you can only get the good TC seats when you purchase a package?

I think many of the shows have the front rows blocked. I just got tickets for the Newark NJ show

and the only thing coming up was Row 12 & 13. I got Row 12 which is good because if the stage is high

like the LTAL tour you won't be able to see much in the very front. I just wish we could get seats

for more than 1 show.

I just got 5th row for Detriot. When I tried searching for tickets, it kept giving me errors. But then after about 5 times of relogging in to TM it finally worked and gave me 5th row.

I first tried the Gold Hot Seat Package and came up with row 9 but it was $450.00 per ticket! So I gave those up and by the time I got through all the TicketMonster crap I ended up with row 12 (Miami show).

And the front rows are blocked not only for TeamCeline but also for general public!... For example that was the case for shows in Berlin and Cologne, Germany!

That's not right. As TeamCéline members we're supposed to get the best seats - closest to Céline, because she would want her biggest fans to be closest. It's like Vegas all over again - we had to fight to get those first two rows.

 

I got 7th row - I also got errors during the first five minutes - but after I kept refreshing, it finally came up. First it offered me 7th row on one side... then I tried again and was offered 7th row on the other side. Both in the center. I'm assuming that's where TC seating started - unless you buy an outrageous hot seat package. Don't get me wrong, I'm very excited to be going - and very thankful I have the opportunity - I just wish they would give the first rows to TC members.
