Part of me wants to think that they will actually try to do a rendition of "A New Day" on tour.

I kind of have mixed feelings. I've seen the Vegas show several times now....and I saw her live back in the day several times also. They are both so special. But I must admit that she is so much more at home when it's just HER as the entire show. Her voice and her stage presence are ENOUGH...and she doesn't need any help.

 

However, Celine loves to give us fans as much as she can....so I think that she will try to tour with some of the cirque du soleil dancers.....and try to put on a HUGE show in every city she tours.

I know what you mean, but sometimes much can be too much. I agree with the first sentence, personally I don't need to see a clown dancing on a heart-shaped stage during her concert.

 

Personally, I'd love if she performed with a live symphonic orchestra I think if she performs at the O2 stadion in Berlin, she should try to get the Berlin Philharmonics to perform with her, they are one of the top orchestra in the world.

I was thinking about this whole tour thing and I just decided that she indeed comes to my country, I won't be going to the concert. When I was in Vegas this past week, a fan from Brazil told me that he talked to Michel and he told the fan that Celine would be going to Brazil in 2008, so if Michel is talking about it, I am sure it's in the works and giong to happen...

So many of the comments that Celine "made" seemed not at all like Celine. I don't think I believe it.

 

A tour like this would kill any chance of her haveing another baby. a baby a 40 years? Celine would almost be 60 when the child turns 18.

 

Her bio-clock is ticking away. The stress of a tour like that... I don't know.

 

BESIDES! Did she lie to all of us about her priorities? How family is the most important thing and singing is just fun?

I think Celine and Rene have lost their mind! It's great for the fans but... why such a BIG tour right after VEGAS? She needs a good break. I guess timing is good as her voice will be in top shape - but what about that time she so wanted with her family?

I think it's great as long as she is happy. And she must really want to do this (if it's true) because I think we all know by now that Celine will not tour if she really doesn't want to. She loves her family, but Rene, RC, and some her of family will travel with her so it would be fun. If they take their time and spread out the tour, she can see the world like she wants to and do a few concerts along the way.

It would be so awesome if she did a tour! I hope she'll stop by here, although I'd love to go to Paris for a show too.

 

At first, I didn't quite understand why Céline would want to tour first, but I think it is understandable. I mean, yes, she's getting older, but we all know how much Céline is dying to tour again, especially in France and Quebec. Maybe she wants to tour so badly, that she feels she should do that first, kind of like getting it out of her system for the time being, before she is able to really relax. But that's just my way of thinking.

 

It would be a dream if she came here =D

Yes, but it's still December. Remember in the past we've heard for different periods, from September to November..

I'm happy for all the fans who haven't seen her live yet. I've seen her so many times, and it's an unreal experience. It takes a while to actually comprehend that she's right there in the same room as you, but once you just relax and take it in....it's just the best thing ever.

 

In Vegas, it usually takes me until half way through The Power of Love to comprehend it.

Yeah, you're probably right about not touring at much in the U.S....but I'm sure she'll cover the big cities.

This major world tour immediately after vegas is actually a BRILLIANT idea.

 

When you think of it, press coverage of her last show will be huge......everywhere!! PLUS people around the globe KNOW the kind of praise and admiration as a performer Celine has recieved from "A new day.."  Every possible big name celebrity has seen the show and people rave about the performances.....including Oprah who said it was the best show shes ever seen.

 

Tickets should go on sale the day after the final performance that should  broadcast live across the world and with the release of the new album in November/Dec 2007 even more press can be covered.(NOT MARCH of 2008 as some think the english album will be released) but thats beside the point.

It'll be tough for her to choose songs for her English speaking audience. She has so many albums, so many songs and it's almost a sure bet she will sing songs from "A New Day Has Come" and "One Heart" as well as from the new English CD in first place. It will be a "new" Céline after all, not the old one we know from the 90's. I can't imagine her doing the same songs she's singing in Vegas... Anyhow I'll be sure to catch her in Belgium/France and in Germany just to listen to the French songs and as we know her she'll concentrate on the new French album there.

 

Now I also smell many disappointed faces cuzz everyone now is expecting Céline to come and visit "their" country - I wish she'd know that, I wish she'd even visit countries she has never visited before like some Asian countries and yes, some European countries she and René forgot that they exist. She may be up for a surprise but I wouldn't get my hopes up.
