I know a while back someone was asking about higher quality footage of Berlin 1997. I know a couple short clips exist, but does anybody here possibly know where they actually came from? The audience seems similar to that of the full bootleg we have, but there has to be more in that higher quality. I’d like to find the full thing if someone here knows anything.

idk, seems a bit odd but wasn’t it the opener for English Deux shows in late 1995 just like TCOML? Do we have any setlists from March 1996 which could confirm?

Nothing beats her 2011 track for that song.

I think some live performances in 1990 in particular due, but the 2011 track is definitely better than the 1992 one, which sounds crazy to say. I feel like there’s an even more drastic difference for the power of love 1994 versus 2011 track. If we’re going to talk 90s tracks, there are some cases where we have live performances that are way better, if you asked me to is another good example, even the short clip of Declaration of Love from 1997 is better than the track. Only one road Tonight Show 1994 is better as well.

Yes, I agree. For me it’s the warmth and just the Céline-ness of the 2011 track (on top of the perfect vocal) that makes it the most pleasant. And yes, the 2011 TPOL track is literal perfection, much better than the old track. To be fair, all of her tracks from 2011-2015 are just perfect, you simply cannot get better than that.

Oh my god i just never register how YOUNG she was reaching such unimaginable heights of her career. As a 10 year old fan she just felt like any other adult celebrity, but now that I’m 10 years older than this young woman in the video… insane that she was achieving things like that when I still barely roll out of bed successfully.

I have it

 

The audio quality is pretty good, especially in comparison with Live A Paris DVD. The video quality is OK, to be expected from MPEG1. If you watch it on a small screen, it’ll be just fine

 

Also, they split it in two discs so there is a gap in footage just before Love Can Move Mountains

Review of the concert:

 

Celine Dion's career keeps growing by leaps was perfectly suited to Dion's voice.

Singer filled the 'Dome with incredible range and raw power. The 28-year-old singer possesses such range and raw power vocally that her voice filled the

Cand bounds with every new recording.

 

Dome to the point of bursting, whether she theme song to Beauty And The Beast to the every passing year, and the diminutive, dynamic singer from Quebec seems uncannily comfortable with the larger-than-life trap pings of stardom.

 

On Monday night, Dion made the leap in Calgary from performing last year at the Jubilee Auditorium before 2,700 people to performing at the Saddledome before approximately 9,000 people.

 

Not only was she at ease with the jump, just as she had been at ease going from being Que bec's darling to becoming a singing sensation in English-speaking North America, but Celine Dion put on a show that dwarfed her Jube performance on every level.

 

To begin with, the size of the Saddledome was wringing every last melodramatic note out of one of her chart-topping ballads or doing her Tina Turner-best with her rendition of River Deep, Mountain High.

 

As well, Dion's show biz stage presentation has become more well-rounded with every tour. She still maintains an essential element of her small town folksiness, especially when she speaks to the audience between songs, but Celine has developed more of a balanced stage persona. She'll still stand centre stage and clutch the microphone as if it was a staff set to part the sea but Dion is also comfortable now standing legs stretched apart in a rocker pose while belting out one of her more adult-rockers.

 

Top that off with the fact that Dion's repertoire has become better balanced, so that her show can range from a ballad like the enticing reggae lilt of Make You Happy, off her new album Falling Into You, and you have a show that never becomes mired in any one style for too long.

 

Dion is equipped with a stupendous set of pipes and her carefully chosen repertoire shows off all that she is capable of vocally while also entertaining her fans with songs guaranteed to please at the "adult" end of the radio dial. She delivered all that and more during her Monday night show at the Saddle- dome, leaving one wondering where can she go from here? Perhaps next time through Cal- gary she'll sing atop the Calgary Tower, her voice booming across the entire city Nothing, it seems, is beyond the reach of Celine Dion.

When Falling Into You came out, Make You Happy was my absolute favorite song on the album ! And when I saw Céline on stage a few months later, I hoped the song would be performed. Like most of you, I learned only a while ago it was indeed performed on the early dates of the tour !
