Yes. It's beautiful. I have to say her voice sounds amazing on that recording, that's very promising if you consider she'll be on tour soon.

I actually think this sounds like a good album.

 

Well I'm not gonna get my hopes up for buying the Celine duet on I tunes or any other download store. In the UK (don't know about anywhere else though??) For the Luther album the only song we couldn't get was the Celine one . I had to buy it when I was in the States, much cheaper thasn getting it in the UK.

 

Of course now I've seen it for under a fiver in most stores.

 

RE The screaming-I never get how people say that Celine screams, just because she can belt out notes for a long time, don't make it screaming. for a screaming 'diva' check out Mariah and especially the new Bouncy single! She is actually shouting the whole bloody song!

To be honest... it's a lil too much of vocal power for a 2 min something song. I have expected something rather chilly in the sense of "Bewitched". She sounds pretty good indeed almost like on "Here There And Everywhere With Sainkho". Now I want that jazz album.

Did you, Tal? The acclaim comes not automatically, of course yet well...it's a typical subdued song in my opinion. On "Quand On S'aime" for example the lil screams were more than appropriate. Not that this new duet sounds bad, but if I had a choice I would have voted for a calmer, sultrier approch that caresses elegantly her lower range.

As I said earlier, I think it's Toney Bennett who wants to sing the notes longer and higher in the studio. I don't think Celine would try to over sing him, if she recorded her part seperately.
