My friends are always on about it, I think it's the fact that they met when Céline was 12 that creeps them out.

I've never been bother by Céline and Rene's relationship ( because as you know Céline really counts on my own personal opinion...cough cough). I only pray that some day I will find a love as strong and deep as theirs

My opinion is that as long as some couples are happy together, age doesn't count. Many people are envious of Celine and Rene because you can really tell by just looking at them how happy and satisfied they are together. And something like that is so rare nowadays unfortunately...

I'm all over on this subject as far as my own preferences go, but for others whatever may be for them.

For me I seem to be attracted to a lot of older guys somtimes, but mainly celebs lol. I don't know if I would be comfortable dating a man too much older than me because I'm still new to relationships and not sure if it would work out now, because sometimes you are at a different place in your life and your interests might be much different. Also it is hard to trust some guys that may be perverts if you're really young you just never know right away who is who.

 

If it works out for you then that's great as long as you're both happy. Some of my friends are like eew an old man that's just gross with Rene! That's mean. Now I could see people being a little startled and shocked at first to a guy who's like 80's and looked really horrible for their age like they are on their last years and you're like in your 20's or some really huge age gap like 35 or something, but you can get used to that when love is all that matters. Eventually that would piss you off hearing that and if people didn't just drop it.

 

However looks only matter just a teeny tiny bit as far as attraction goes you need something to be there and chemistry of some sort. I've been watching the Bachelor and you could have the perfect woman who has everything you are looking for and they are beautiful, but if somehow you don't feel a romantic connection, then it won't work even if you wish you had those feelings and they aren't there.

That's one thing that makes no sense to me if everything is so perfect.

 

Celine and Rene were meant to be so who cares what others have to say. The only thing I thought was a little weird at first is that she slept with his picture under her pillow at 12, but then again I had a crush on a rock star somewhere near that age about 12-14, but I'm not sure how old he is and I still think he's pretty nice even today. I couldn't be happier for Celine. God bless those two sweethearts. Both of them deserve only the best.
