3 new songs to be added to A New Day...!!

It's just a rumour. I really can't believe that she will add "River Deep, Mountain High" - they cut the song from "Live In Memphis" video and "Live A Paris" DVD. So why would they allow her to sing it now? Personnally I would love her to sing it again, but it sounds very improbable.

She won't be able to get the rights to sing RDMH every night because of the Phil Spector mess. God knows how she managed to sing it at Divas! She won't remove PQTME because it's her biggest French hit and people know and like it and they certainly won't add a second French song because the show is in America. She won't sing Unison because it's a song from so long ago and lots of those people at the show won't know it, aside from the fact it is now dated and sounds it's age.

 

So the rumour is almost certainly false and people should stop believing the dancers and Celine store staff who mean well but have no real idea about anything.

Wow this is just great news! Can't wait to hear "Unison" in a new instrumental arrangement!!!

I'm actually glad they are going to take out IDAN and I sincerely hope they will replace "Fever" with "Le ballet"

That would be amazing. IMO Celine should have changed her tracks long time ago. Unison is a great dance track, and disco music is very popular nowadays!! RD-MH is a fresh track too!!

interesting ... although i'll be sad to see IDAN go, Unison would fill in its shoes very nicely ... they could use a similar background with the city night ... it'll be fresh. and it'll be nice to hear some old material for a change.

 

River Deep, Mountain High ... can never go wrong with that. Hopefully, the vocals will be powerful.

 

As for the new French song ... I'm thinking it'll be one of these three songs: Je Lui Dirai, On Ne Change Pas, or Le Ballet ... I bet she's going to go for the first one since she's crazy about her Rene-Charles. Then again, On Ne Change Pas would be exquisite ... beautiful. And Le Ballet ... show-stopper every time.

 

I'd hate to see PQTME go ... too bad she can perform it the way she did at taratata in 1995 with the rock edge ... that would be really cool.

 

but yeah, all the way needs to go ... bring back at last and fever.

I'm with Bellamy on this one. I utterly detest "I Believe In You" and Il Divo. If they ever added this to the show I'd be disappointed and disgusted. In my opinion, "I Believe In You" is one of Celine's worst songs ever. Just my opinion.
