Ah I love this thread! I have ZERO tattoos and I always knew if I ever were to get one it would either be A. Something about my dog ( who is my BABY! lol) or B. Celine inspired. hahaha That being said, I loved looking at everyone's tatt's! I would get something Celine-ified for sure. But I don't know what- I LOVE the simple signature idea on the wrist. I would want to see it and want everyone else to see it too! I HAVE NO SHAME! I mean, yeah I get ragged all the time about even enjoying Celine's music, nevermind the fact that I am a HARDCORE Italian_Celine_copycat_site wooohoooooo! But honestly, I don't care! Laugh if you want, my girl ROCKSSSSS. I mean, I knew when I was 8 years old this was going to be my favorite singer forever. So yeah, I would have no problem showing it off, I would flash people to show off my Celine tattoo....but I prob won't be getting one in that area haha. But I'm just saying. I would. In fact I would look like this doing it, singin "IDAN" at the top of my lungs with arm movements:

 

Still unsure about what to get though. "A New Day" has so much meaning for me, and everyone really. I wouldn't have a problem wearing it forever. I would wear it PROUDLY I mean, Celine gave up her life for her fans and her career. A little ink and a little pain is nothin'. Not if it/ she means the world to you! I might have to think about this more and get back to you with a design hehe.

I started reading this without looking to see who posted it and thought, wow, that sounds sorta like Lindsey. Then I looked and it WAS you, Lindsey! As soon as I read "my girl ROCKSSSSS" I knew it had to be you and you're right, our girl does rock! I think I'm with you all the way on your tattoo thoughts though. It's the least we could do for all she's done for us, but would she think it's a bit overboard? If she did I wouldn't want one. I love all the ones that have been shared on here though... VERY nice! I think I still might want a small one regardless of what our girl thinks. It's not because I'm a psycho stalker, it's because I admire her in her multiple facets. Artist, activist, mom, daughter, sister... She's the all around package and I'm not ashamed to say that I LOVE CÉLINE DION!!!

Personally I don't think I'm ever gonna get a tatoo, I'm not into writing or drawing anything on my skin for ever, and I hate pain so I probably wouldn't make an exception even for Celine. But good for you guys, if you like tattoos then a Celine one is great

i've thought about a tattoo ever since i saw "A New Day".... it would definitely be something very small and not visible to for the world to see. maybe i'll get it while i'm in VEGAS next time I see Celine!

for me, my tattoos are a way for me to mark important moments and time periods in my life. so getting celine's name tattooed on me, is more about marking several moments in my life. including the weekend of the fan gathering in montreal.

it's not about remembering something, thats not what i mean by "marking"....it's hard to explain....also i dont consider tattoos "extreme"

I think it is if you get like whole body tattoo's or you basically cover every inch of skin in tatto's which I know you aren't so to each his own, I mean there are a lot of other things that are more extreme like splitting your tounge, body modification. I just can't see myself getting a tattoo or anything is all to makr any event in my life. I have zero pain tolerance and its just not something I'm comfortable with having permanently on my body.

I love the idea of getting a tatoo related to Celine. I toyed with the idea of getting her name but then I thought twice. haha. get it??? I think someone should get a tatoo of 'Think twice'' .... if you did you must have realllllly wanted it

 

Anyway. I want to get 'L'amour existe encore' On my wrist ideally but I cant because of future jobs. Perhaps on my foot, like small around the bottom of my ankle.... Not sure yet but Im seriously thinking about this one!

 

I dont see tatoos as extreme, I agree with supernova; they mark important periods in your life. People like to express things different ways and if a journal works for you then thats cool, and if a tatoo is more your thing that that's good too! Even if you regret a tatoo then I see it as still symbolising a point in your life....at that point you wanted it and for whatever reason that was it is captured in that tatoo.

i got my first tattoo yesterday! its nothing Celine related, but i defiantly wanna get something Celine related. I wanna get the line "on ne change pas" or some lyrics from taking chances written somewhere. I"m thinking on the back of my neck. Idk yet though.

 

I love the whole idea of tattoos, for me its all about expression and i looove the idea of marking myself permanently with things that make me who i am, and that inspire me. I love them!
