Celinenvegas Posted April 11, 2007 at 04:19 PM Posted April 11, 2007 at 04:19 PM This is my fav Celine song. I fell in love with it as soon as I heard her perform it on the VH1 Honors concert - it was incredible. I watched it over & over. Then when I saw Celine in NYC she performed the song on the FIY tour and it was just fantastic. I have the 3" cd single from Japan with the black & white pic of Celine on the cover and it also has the instrumental version on it. I know it was #1 in Japan for something like 18 weeks - incredible! Taro also made some appearances with Celine to do the song - most recently in Vegas. I love the way she does the song in Vegas, except that it's the edited version. It makes me cry ever time I see her sing it live - it's just an incredible song. 1 Quote ~J O E Y~
Davey84 Posted April 11, 2007 at 04:38 PM Posted April 11, 2007 at 04:38 PM (edited) and here is also a bit more history that unfortunatly did not happen! I bought the TLYM promo LP on Ebay... and in it was a pamflet for the DJ, one was for his opinion and the second one some promo! Now... Zora Sourit should have been released as a single in the UK on September 21, 1998!!! TLYM would have been the B-side! there would have been 2 cds and cassette singles! TLYM was promoted as a classis song, and here Tony Moran provides a fantastic set of big house mixes, which are set to give celine another big dancefloor hit. YEAH IT COULD HAVE BEEN A HIT, IF SONY DIDN'T CANCEL THE SINGLE!!! Elaine Posted April 15, 2007 at 02:08 AM Posted April 15, 2007 at 02:08 AM I love To Love You More! There was even a Brazilian version made popular here in Brazil by a singer called Daniel. But off course, Celine's version is a thousand times better! No doubts about it baby! I was wondering about it these days and how I used to love the song in Portuguese only because it was a Céline song... And this song is just me sometimes.. I just love it! I didn't know it was as old as The color of my love Quote http://img807.imageshack.us/img807/1352/opo3.jpg
chassyeah Posted April 20, 2007 at 07:22 AM Posted April 20, 2007 at 07:22 AM (edited) Is it true that haves japanese version? That song... TLYM does have Japanese version...The title is "Koibito Yo~To Love You More~", performed by a japanese singer Miho Yonemitsu. The version is slightly different from Celine's, but also arranged by Kryzler & Kompany. BTW, that singer also recorded "Be The Man" in japanese later. WCD199317 Posted April 23, 2018 at 02:48 AM Posted April 23, 2018 at 02:48 AM Though it wasn't heavily promoted in Europe or the USA, it is considered one of her greatest hits. That's why it was included on ATW. No, no, the single has been released in single in 1996 in Canada, because this song has included on the Live à Paris CD. The single achieved a commercial success, peaked at n.9 on Canadian singles charts and the n.1 on the AC charts (only for 1 week) and the song has been released in promo single in United States in 1998 (for the third single in Let's talk about Love), with huge success, peaked the n.1 for the AC Charts for 8 weeks. Philippe Posted April 23, 2018 at 03:19 AM Posted April 23, 2018 at 03:19 AM (edited) Do we know if the song charted on billboard hot100? I guess it has been only a radio single. On another note, I am surprised to find out that it has been recorded in 1994. Her voice and the production sound really 96ish. I can't picture it being recorded in the same area as POL or TCOML.
