i don't bother much about XP now....it's pretty good and as far it's the most stable window...i only had one major problem with it

 

but now i am installing linux so i won't have to bother

I've never used a linux system before. Can you post some caps of the screen?

I really love my Windows XP system, it's never let me down. But I want to get a new laptop next year, so that I can have the NEW "Windows Longhorn" window.

I've used all the Microsoft systems so far, I love it!

I found a lot more space and quickness with XP...... but it catches spyware and viruses like crazy......

On IE, there was an article about all the bugs Microsoft has to delete . I think it's going to take more than weeding to remove the problems many of us have to deal with

I don't have enough space on my hard disk (only 20 GB) so I try to burn everything! At the moment, I have burnt thirty CDs! Usually, I burn them as VCD or SVCD because then I can read them on TV with the DVD player! I'd like to have a DVD burner, maybe next Christmas... Unless you offer it to me?

I used to have lot of fights with my computer...and every time I lost

but now I'm way smarter than this old and rusty pc...

to allceline : linux has a graphic face just line window only most of the commands are made by hand..you just have to write a line or two in a command window..a little like DOS. i am just at the begining..i guess that after a month it seems easy...i use both right now cause many windows programs can't be found for linux but linux is well protected from spyware and things like that...

I burn the big videos on CDs, + the videos I love the most, be they big or not

At the moment I am sharing for 141GB's only Celine stuff. But it is realy getting time that I burn them on CD or DVD.

But at the moment I have verry little time to do that

I hope to start with it on Eastern-hollidays.

I will number them, so if annyone need some file, I always can put it back on my drive.

Have lot's of fun with downloading.

I've finaly fond a good programe MyDVD Studio Deluxe Suite it works good it takes a lot of time and we can do VCD SVCD & DVD it makes beautyfull menus oh it takes a lot of time but I like it

My hard-drive is 90% Celine, i never find the time to burn my stuff...

Mine too - I only have 1GB space left - that's why I stay up late everynight to burn stuff. But it takes time to fit it in nicely...sigh..I don't have much sleep - but it's worth it!

 

Nero is simple and fast. No problems. But you have to trim the filenames as they are sometimes quite long. (CD-R).
