Anyone wear glasses/contacts?

Who wears glasses or contacts ? I have some glasses at home, haven't worn them in over half a year can't stand glasses, it's uncomfortable and hurts my eyes if I wear it for long periods of time. Don't ask for my vision, it's beyond bad I'm thinking about getting contacts soon, what do you guys think of them? Need some opinions...

I have glasses but I only need them for driving. I have one eye that sucks and one eye that has great vision. So one eye balences out the other eye. Its kind of complacatied. lol

I wear glasses. But at times I take them off. Not suppsed to but do it anyways. I can't wear contacts. I don't know why but I was told I couldn't... That sucks...

I wear contacts! Without them..i'm blind. I have such terrible vision. I hardly wear my glasses..only around the house...I look like a total nerd..(not saying glasses are nerdy but they do look blah on me hehe)

my vision is not good, but I don't wear both. only wear glasses sometimes for classes. I feel it's uncomfortable, and feel contacts even worse. so I prefer see the world in bad vision than wear glasses or contacts.

I'm wearing glasses, too! At weekdays I am using my "normal" glasses and on special days my Celine glasses.

I want to buy a pair of Celine Dion Glasses too, even I won't wear it often. but I feel the designs for male suck, designs for female Glasses are ok. so I still haven't Celine Dion Glasses.

Same here! the doctor told me that I was supposed to wear it at all times or my vision will become worst I would go for the laser surgery but there's a little risk involved in that.

I'm too scared to get the surgery done... my luck they'd mess up and I'd be blind the rest of my life or something!! LMFAO

I wear glasses, have since 2nd gr. I hate them but can't wear contacts because my eyes are too sensitive, can't even stand to get drops put in them

I know someone that got laser eye surgery done like 5 years ago. I would imagine that technology have improved since then.

I had a friend do it a few years ago, it heals very quickly and it feels like you have sand in you eyes.

Wow... I think that would scare me to be walking aroundfor a few days feeling like there was sand in my eyes.... knowing me, I'd probably freak and think that meant there was something wrong

I wear glasses too. But only at school. I really hate wearing them. I just never thought that I'd where glasses when I was younger. Which 14-year-old wouldn't hate them?!

 

I wish my eyes where better. I really have good vision. But my right eye is slightly "crooked. " (did I spell that right?) I wish my eyes were better.

 

Hopefully it will in a while.

Wearing glasses too but only when I read, watch TV, and drive. Just my left eye bothering kinda boring ! But I don't have the choice, if I don't wear them I don't see anything and my head starts hurting... hear me Vic ?

I prefer glasses. I couldn't be bothered with contacts since you can't wear them while showering, swimming, having a bath. I might forget I have them and go to sleep with them. And it's not good to wear them for more than 8 hours.

I wear glasses also. But I don't feel comfortable with them and never got used to them. So the problem is that my vision is getting worse every year and I can't solve the problem because I really hate the glasses lol

I'm thinking about using contacts, but I fear that I won't get used to them also.

Wow this book looks good. I'm going to order it now. I can't stand wearing glasses, and like another poster said, even using eye drops is uncomfortable. My nearsightedness gets worse every year. Of course it doesn't help that I stare at a computer screen for about 10-12 hours every day (work and playing at home). If this book helps that would make me very happy.

I'm supposed to wear glasses, my eye site is only bad when I have to read... I have to read really close to anything lol Thankgod I've never had to get an eye test for my drivers licence hehe... I prob woulda failed
