Let's talk about Love

Hey, I wanted to hear, if anyone wants to share their experiences with Love, wether it be a first love, or a recent love, a love lost or a love that had stuck forever.

 

I just recently ended something I thought was pretty speacial...and going through all those feelings for the first time, makes you understand when people talk about love so much more...even though it feels like dying..there is nothing I want more than love.

 

Can someone explain it all to me?? Does it ever get any easier?

How much time must I give it? I think I have reseigned myself to the fact that there just isn't anyone for me in my small little High School world...but it's getting harder and harder to wait! I'm going crazy!

 

Sometimes, I wish I was straight..which I am ashamed of, because I am proud of who I am..but when everyone around you tells you something is so wrong..in everything they say..it's hard not to be affected!

well 4 years ago now i lost the love of my life, and even now a song or a saying, sparks up the memories

 

She was my best friend, we learned everything possible about each other to a point that our love was growing stronger, then we kissed pulled away looked at each other, words were not needed so we carried on we used to talk, not like id had before but about fears and love, everyone said we were a match made in heaven, if only we were opposite sex, we did not care, we were together 2 years, endured, romance flowers, moonlight walks everything, knew each other mentally and phsyically, untill it ended she left never seen her since and believe me it hurts just as much now 4 years on

 

Now it is whether you take my road the road to distuction, or a road of hope that you will find someone else to love...

Couldn't have said it better myself. But then, love is not high on my priority list, so that doesn't bother me as much as I'm sure it hurts someone actively wanting a relationship.

 

I want to tell you, though, that highschool is a blip in your life. You don't need to find a love there. It's a closed community that holds no accurate perception of the outside world, and no one is who they 'truly' are. They're still learning to be fully functional and mature beings. Don't feel badly about not finding someone at school. In a few years, you'll sit back and wonder what all the fuss was about.

 

The person you're looking for will come. Sometimes it's a long wait, but while you're waiting, and while you're between paramours, learn about yourself. Learn about who you are, what you love, what you believe in, what life is and what you want from it, about your perceptions and your everyday thoughts, what you want in a mate...so that when that person finally comes along, you won't be blind, or desperate for attention. You'll know who you are, what you want, and THAT is worth waiting for. When the right thing comes along, you won't even remember all the years you waited for it...it will all be worth it. And you'll have so much more of yourself to give...so many more layers to share.

 

I know that, being a teenager, this is the time in our life when you want to really start learning how to relate to people, to learn about your emotions and love, to learn how to be close to other people in vulnerable ways (ah, teenage years) but in order to find the love that will lift your soul, you must first know what your soul is made of. Don't be in so much of a hurry that you make a bad choice.

Man... I feel like that ALL the time. Who could possibly put up with me, and not get annoyed or bored of my stupidity, and see me for who I am. No guy wants to be seen with me, they don't even look at me that way it's so depressing sometimes. I want love, but it's not a priority. It would be great to have someone to cuddle with and be romatic with sometimes. But I'll live, every once in a while I think about it, but not very often. A few days ago I had the most wonderful short dream about this guy I used to have a crush on, it was so random because I hadn't even thought of him in the longest time. The dream was almost real, I could feel things, when he told me what I wanted to hear, I remembered something about him and I woke up. Oh well. I'm not in a hurry, I'm not going to look around, I'm just going to wait for that special someone. I'm pretty naive about love, but I don't care.

your one and only will come along and only then you will know what true love is

if it takes years you will learn it was so worth the wait

everyone dont give up keep the faith love comes to the knows who believe it

Damien ... this is such a difficult time for you ... still so young ... heart broken over a love that did not last ... over dreams that shattered ... thinking you'll never find, never know love again ... seeing those around you walking hand and hand ... feeling so alone ... so unloved ... I can tell you so many things ... but none would help at this moment ... none would ease your pain ... you will get through this, honey ...

Love find us ... sometimes when we least expect it ... and sometimes with someone we never really thought we'd be with ...

 

I knew the love of my life when we were both much younger ... we were friends ... we lost touch ... I moved to another state ... had spoken for at least 15 years ... then we found each other again ... and, now, I have lost that love ...our journey ended much too fast and too suddenly ... I was blessed to have been loved ...

Unfortunately ... there are people in this world who take great pleasure in playing games with other peoples emotions just because they know they can ... and you will hurt for awhile ... you loved ... part of you still loves ... you gave your heart ... trusted ... believed that you had found someone who feels the same way as you do ... only to find out that she doesn't feel the same way ... youn will get through ... you are THAT strong ...
