I got to meet Céline as well but my meeting was unprepeared, we heard we would meet her just 3 hours before it happened. I always thought I would know what to say, because there are so many things I always wanted to tell her, but at THE moment it went by so fast... I was so impressed by her appearance and before I knew it, she was gone. And I did not say what I always wanted to say. It may sound strange, but I almost felt sorry, because it felt like a missed chance... For years and years all I wanted was an autograph, I did not dare to dream I would ever meet her, and now I did meet her but I did not tell her about my feelings for her and her music. I really had mixed feelings, so strange! But coming back to your story, with us she did take the time to give us autographs, fortunately. And I also remember her face was really covered with make-up, like you said, like a wax statue. Reading your story made me go back to that special night... Thank you for this...
