Why do so many Celine fans.

I love Celine coz she has a great voice and also a great personalithy - she's caring, sweet, charitable and her heart really goes out to all...I have some Maria Carey albums coz I like her too but I think that they're 2 diff kinds of voices and women.they're both special although sometimes Maria goes far too much such as clothing and the pretended "cool" look.she's not as honest as celine in her appearance i think...

She might not be such a nice person, but it doesn't mean she can't sing...

Now I Understand why so many of you hate Mariah and i think it´s sad because i love her as much as i love Celine.

 

I know why.

 

She has a rare voicetype and she can cover all notes off the piano with her so called Whistlerange and you poeple hate when she does it,

Celine also has this type of whistle in her voice called flagolet( Fly-Naked- Let Your Heart decide)to name a few.

 

Okey Sometimes Mariah overdoes her whistles and i prefer her chestnotes-vibrating like Celine is best known for and i just feel bad when fans of Celine talks bad of the other peer i mean let´s face it people These 2 divas a very much alike.

I seriously think #1 is a good album. It has all her hits in the 90s.

However, I just dun like some of her music nowadays, maybe I'm not interested in R&B music.

Most Celine music is pop, rock, ballads..

Mariah has those as well but because she sings R&B music as well, that's why it's very hard for me to be a big fan of hers!!

I love Mariah Carey to pieces. She's the singer who has sung such great songs as "Vision of Love", "Can't Let Go", "Hero" and "Always Be My Baby", and other great songs and who's cds I still listen to today.

 

It's HO-riah Scarey, the evil clone who kidnapped Mariah and has been impersonating her since around late 1998, that I hate and despise. It's this creature who has mumbled and screamed [oops, er, I mean sang] the abominations "Loverboy", "Crybaby", "Thank God I Found You", and other terrible songs, and has seen fit to have no-talent rappers in her songs. Not to mention dressing like a dime store 'tute and wearing the minimal amount of clothing acceptable to go out in public.

 

In a bizarre turn of events, some fans of Mariah Carey seem to be under the impression that HO-riah and Mariah [whose whereabouts are still unknown] are the same person and continue to trumpet her work as wonderful. How they can think that, I have no idea

I only like Mariah's music of the beginning of her career. I like her albums Mariah Carey (with Vision Of Love), Emotions, Music Box and Fantasy, after that album she began to pant and peep too much and singing R&B songs that I really don't like. Also, her personality doesn't appeal to me, to say the least. But sometimes she sings a song that resembles her older style, where she sometimes uses her full voice, and I like it, but the way she pants throughout most of those songs makes those songs less beautiful than they could be. Such a waste of voice and talent.

Without You, Open Arms, Bringin On The Heartbreak to name a few.

 

I dónt understand why so many Fans of Celine hate Mariah i love them both very much and Mariah has been through hell and she rised up again like a phoenix from the ashes year ago and not many can, But she could do it by herself and god helped her i believe he did.

 

I can be honest and say i don´t like all the songs-albums Mariah has done and she acts sometimes childiss and dresses in shorts-skirts. But i love her anyway.

 

To date Mariah has sold over 185.million albums worldwide and earned stunning 17 number#1,s more than any other female artist in history.

 

Is it because Mariah sounds to urban-RN,B or how she looks like,,, What is it. I can´t understand.

that's my reason to don't have her in my favourites but I realy like her slow musics I've 10 cd's of her (2 is a compil oder ones are studio) i like the slows not the others....

What a loaded question! I don't particularly care for Mariah because she's not as classy as Céline, dresses kinda trashy, has too much of a diva attitude, just to name a few. Mainly I don't hate her, she's just another singer to me. Her voice doesn't touch my soul the way Céline's does, it's just not as pure and emotion evoking. Whitney's voice was amazing before she went all druggie on us So for me, that's why Céline is the best!

man i'm kinda fed up with all these pseudo-celine fans going around this forum trying to convince people that whoriah is whatever or trying to convince us lara has a better voice...i mean, you're pure fun guys, you know?but i tell you smthng, this is a celine dion forum, so......

 

so, if i'll ever get mariah to sing LIVE and i mean REAL LIVE let's say never too far...well, then i'll shut up...and since this is never going to happen, please stop it coming out every now and then with this s**t about a so-called (and pretended) "amazing voice"...

 

apart form the fact that she really looks like a prostitute, the she thinks just too much of herself and that she cares only for herself...

 

one last thing, disdiva, if we thing celine is better...well i guess she really is, as a person (and you can't deny it...), in terms of success (you can't deny it either...) and finally as a vocalist, mariah was good but her amazing whistle voice caused the ruin of her vocal cords and now her voice is simply GONE...that's all...
