"Vole" Vs. "Fly"

For me I find "Fly" to be more powerful. Maybe it's because I can understand the lyrics better. Anyway, I voted for "Fly."

this might be the only example for a song that was translated for celine from french and still didnt loose it's appeal - great lyrics in english too , one of her most emotional and meaningful songs ever and since i dont speak french and the english lyrics r so beautiful , i chose "fly".

I think the transition from "Je sais pas" to "I Don't Know" was pretty good. The lyrics are practically the same, and the meaning is just as strong in either one of them.

I would have to say I like vole better.

 

I knew Fly for a long time before I got vole. When I first listened to vole I got so emotional I cried. I don't cry easily either. It is a great song and I love the power and emotion in it.

 

Even thought Fly is really good too.

There both the same, but me being English and understanding the words, adds to the emotion , and i always remember the song on the colour of my love video, where she sheds a tear on the song at the end .wow. so fly for me

It was the first version I heard, and by that time I didn't know anything about Karine, but I could listen to Celine almost crying by the end of the song and that made me want to cry... Later on I discovered the power this song had and about what it was, and I realized Celine passes exactly what she wanted through the song...

When I heard the French song I didn't feel the same I had felt with the English one....
