rogerionovais Posted April 13, 2006 at 07:18 PM Posted April 13, 2006 at 07:18 PM (edited) on tour definitely... personally, I would love to see Celine in my country, Portugal. That would be a blast for many fans that are waiting for her for many years now. Edited April 13, 2006 at 07:19 PM by rogerionovais Quote
ginossi Posted April 14, 2006 at 06:22 AM Posted April 14, 2006 at 06:22 AM I want to see her on tour. I'm form Argentina, that's in South America and it's just too expensive for me to go to Vegas.I'm angry about this because they seem to have forgotten about us down here. We buy her Cd's and merchandising just like anyone else in the world yet they never bother to come here and do at least 1 miserable concert.I'm sorry, I love Celine but we're tired of being ignored.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well what can Celine do about it? may be is not a good market for her over there, I dont think Celine can make the whole world happy, we have seen that she does not go to that many third world countrys, you are not being ignored is she was doing that then how you think african people who have no money feel?. And with the crisis of your country i dont know how many people can purchase tickets to go see her. all latin america buy her music but she hasnt been to any country there and if she would think of touring in latin america she would go to the largest city in the world Mexico City not Buenos Aires or anywhere in Argentina (btw Buenos Aires is very nice). And btw theres nothing MISERABLE about Celine concerts.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Look, I don't want to pick a fight and yes, unfortunately, we're a third world country. You're right, it's not a good market for her. Second, the most important city in Latin America ain't Mexico but Brasil, largest country in South America by far.I'm not saying it's Celine's fault, just try and put yourself on our shoes. We buy her stuff too, does the fact that we live in South America mean we deserve less?, I don't think so. She could easily charge a bit less and come to South America, I think it's unfair...it's like..."buy my stuff but I'm sorry, your country can't afford me so I won't go". I mean if people like Madonna, The Rolling Stones, U2, Michael Jackson and even MARIAH CAREY came to South America, especially Argentina then Celine can come as well, BELIEVE ME, the market's very good. She has a whole continent waiting to see her, it's about gratitude, you know, do it for the fans, at least once, stop thinking about how much you're worth and do it for the fans. I know for a fact that the people in Africa are in a worse state so all the stuff I said previously, goes for Africa as well. Quote
