ks1981 Posted April 12, 2006 at 05:12 PM Posted April 12, 2006 at 05:12 PM I been thinking about what I would prefere to see - celine in vegas or a show on tour I have to say although footage is fantastic of her show in vegas I would much rather see a relaxed, fun performance (especially with those dance moves she has picked up lol) If she does go on tour in the future i wonder what kind of set up she would go for. The Lets Talk about love 'heart' stage was classy. What are your thoughts....?! Quote

I'm form Argentina, that's in South America and it's just too expensive for me to go to Vegas.I'm angry about this because they seem to have forgotten about us down here. We buy her Cd's and merchandising just like anyone else in the world yet they never bother to come here and do at least 1 miserable concert.I'm sorry, I love Celine but we're tired of being ignored. And its a huge distance to travel as well. My advice is, get to Vegas is you can before the run ends cos it is a fantastic show and experience...but if you miss it i wouldn't worry too much either cos Celine is far better in concert. (Take the memphis concert for example, one of her best in my oppinion!) Quote

ks1981 Posted April 12, 2006 at 11:35 PM Author Posted April 12, 2006 at 11:35 PM watching celines concerts like memphis / the molson centre - she has the most amazing presence on stage in comparison to so many other artists. although my opinion is slightly biased i have not yet seen another performer do what she does so instantly - i cant put my finger on it exactly - for example mariah carey she goes on stage waves her hands about and sings her songs, celine puts depth into her performance. like divas live when she just strutted out to river deep mountain high captivating the entire audience (i dont think the more recent divas was as good.) Its performancs like that which just blow me away and i dont know if vegas has that WOW factor! What song do you think on previous tours really stuns you..? i would have to pick IACBTMN I'm not knocking her vegas show at all - just interested in what others think. Quote

Yes All By Myself would have been a great choice for vegas - i think i read somewhere on this forum that someones opinion was she wouldnt prob sing that song live again (because her voice isnt quite like it was) but if she is performing songs like I Surrender in a new day (not sure if she is lip-synching) why would All By Myself be such a problem. That being said, I'd probably prefer a tour since most of the people attending are fans. The atmostphere is quite different from Vegas, you feel more connected with others knowing that the people around you are probably fans or admire her. The Vegas Show it's fabulous but many of Celine's fans can't see it live because it's too expensive. I'm from Portugal and Celine never came to my country... She even cancelled a concert in Lisbon scheduled to June 1999 what disappointed many fans. If she decided to do another world tour I think she should try to go to countries where she had never been and to the ones where she has more fans. And she is there so you can go when you want and when you can afford to go! Plus the show is amazing! Having said that in Vegas you lose the fans vibe and the whole atmosphere is better in a tour! And she is able to go all over so more fans get to see her! But i have managed to see her 10 times within a year in vegas and that wouldnt be as possible on a tour! And with the crisis of your country i dont know how many people can purchase tickets to go see her. all latin america buy her music but she hasnt been to any country there and if she would think of touring in latin america she would go to the largest city in the world Mexico City not Buenos Aires or anywhere in Argentina (btw Buenos Aires is very nice).
