A new version of "Tout Pres Du Bonheur" featuring new vocals from Céline, in a more duet-mood, will be on Quebec radio stations on April, 11th. The video scripted by Dan Bigras and... Céline herself will be shoot in Vegas' desert on May, 8th.

Isn't this that song that she wrote for Anne Marie's wedding that was recorded in French by Anne Marie's husband Marc Dupre. Celine sing a bit on that track.

Celine should shoot a new video for herself too.

I like Tout Pres Du Bonheur, but with more Celine's parts it will be better.

Let's hope Star Systeme will be there too.

Celine Dion offered to humorist and singer Marc Dupre the only song she has ever composed.

Entitled Tout près du bonheur, the melody was composed in 2000 for Marc Dupre & Rene Angelil's daughter, Anne-Marie Angelil's wedding. Celine Dion performed it after the ceremony.

During the recording of his album Refaire le monde, Marc Dupré asked to Celine the permission to cover the song and record it; the mother-in-law accepted at once.

The song, halfway between rock and pop, has been recorded by the humorist, accompanied by some vocals by the diva.

The album is released on October 18, 2005 at the Spectrum in Montreal, Quebec.

I really really hope she'll record this track in English in a near future, with a rocky edge to it.

 

The song sounds really great, real hit potentials. It is way better than anything she's recorded lately (besides Contre Nature and a few others), and it is such a shame she "gave it away".

 

I hope she'll find enough confidence in this track to record it herself and release it as single, coz it has hit potential. It's a track suited for Nickleback, and they'd surely turn it in to a hit if they got their hands on it.

 

So please Céline, record this track in English.

I've never actually heard the song, and the lyrics I thought I knew are nothing Nickleback would sing and they wouldn't go well with rock music, so I guess I'm thinking about the wrong song... is it possible some one can post the lyrics? (english please).

"A New Videoclip Is Coming..."

(7:30 a.m. GMT) Singer Marc Dupré will record his new videoclip «Tout prčs du bonheur» with Céline Dion in the desert of Las Vegas. Dan Bigras will produce the video. Tout prčs du bonheur is the sole song that Céline Dion ever wrote. She offered it to Marc Dupré, her son-in-law, for his wedding with Anne-Marie Angélil in 2000 and the singer recorded this priceless song on his first album, Refaire le monde.

 

Marc Dupré will record the video of this song in Las Vegas on May 8th, the day after the Céline Dion's 500th show at The Colosseum at Ceasars Palace. Céline Dion, who sings the chorus of that song, will appear in the videoclip, acting herself. René Angélil was contacted and he immediately appreciated this collaboration. Dan Bigras also talked with Céline Dion, who improved some points. After this discussion, Dan wrote a synopsis which suited everybody.

 

Dan Bigras' video will be a mini-film, a fiction in which we'll see a man and a woman falling in love. The scenes will be shot in the desert of Las vegas, in a casino and also in a studio. Anne-Marie and Marc will play those parts. The song written and performed by Céline at Marc Dupré and Anne-Marie Angélil's wedding deals with hope and lasting love. It should be a lucky song and worked well since the couple have now three children.

 

Marc Dupré have recorded a new remixed version, more rock of «Tout prčs du bonheur», in which we can hear more Céline Dion's voice. This version will be available on the next album of the singer, soon in stores. The new version of «Tout prčs du bonheur» will be on radio as from April 11th. That video will be aired in the half of May. Marc Dupré's album, Refaire le monde, was launched on October 18th and Tout prčs du bonheur will be the fourth single.
