"When does A New Day... end?"

The time goes really fast, we were waiting for Celine's in Vegas. Now 2006 and it should be end. but the extend thing make it one year more. I wish I could go there. The time is running so fast. wishing I could seein her once in A New Day...

That means they are not able to decide the exact end date, but it still will end at the end of 2007.

Ok. My topic might not have been that important but it shouldn't have been closed. Some people on here agree with me.

 

My topic was no less important then "What is Celine's worst album cover?" There's nothing wrong with that topic either. What else are we suppose to talk about.

 

My poll was ment to be fun and to get an idea if other fans think Celine might extend. Elton John has been saying he wouldn't do a Vegas show for decades now look at him. They've been trying get him to do a Vegas show since the 70's. He recently extend his original contract.

 

Barry Manilow was giving a farewell tour two years ago (and he was honestly giving up touring). He was offered a Vegas show (which wouldn't require touring) and he thought an uplifting show is what our world needs now. He recently extended his contract.

 

My poll was to try and get others opinions about A New Day. I couldn't believe how many people here were talking like next year is the end for good. Maybe, maybe not. Just because something is posted on CelineDion.com or is on TV doesn't mean it's true. It might even be true now but Celine might want to keep doing the show once next year comes along.

 

It's really the principle on the matter. The reason given for the poll being closed is because the official end date is already on another thread, which is 100% false.

Your insults were really unnecessary, warning level has been increased. We will not tolerate name calling on this board. To answer your questions, the show has already been extended, the chance of it happening again is very slim. I think Elton will replace her after the contract is over.

I'm sorry if I got out of hand, but my poll was ment to be fun and what it was closed for is not true. Gee wiz...all I did was try and get feedback from other Celine fans on a CelineDion message board and I can't because there is a thread about the show already. Well I can't create a poll on that thread. Honestly, does Santa bring you coal every year? Let someone post a poll! We're all fans here and I did nothing wrong. People agree with me and the reason the poll was closed was due to a bogus excuse.

 

I'm a huge Elton fan. I'd be really suprised if EJ did Vegas full time. He tours the world as well as the Vegas show and just did it to fill in for Celine. If Celine doesn't do the show he can't really fill in for her. I don't know.

I would really like to know if "until the end of 2007" they mean the final show will be New Years Eve 2007, or around November/December time. I may have to try and go again before. I'm afriad if I wait 'till the final show and it is Christmas or NYE time I won't be able to make it due to work ect.
