A New Day... Performance Schedule

March 29, 2006

 

We have been receiving many e-mails asking us when the final performance of A New Day... will be taking place. We have announced the show schedule to end of December 2006. This information can be found on the Schedule & Seating page in the A New Day... section. A New Day... is scheduled to run through to the end of 2007 however we are not yet able to confirm the final performance date as we do not have the schedule for 2007 yet. Celine currently does not have any other touring plans. We will announce any new information on Celinedion.com as it is received.

When I was in Vegas many people were saying this - that show might end in March 2007.

 

It's a very good news to know that - I mean, for sure now - 100% - that show will end in the of 2007 so that I can go again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was actually told in Vegas in November that the show was due to end at the end of March 07. But there was a very strong possibility that she would extend. I wasn't sure about that.

 

So the end of 2007? Will the NYE show be the very last one or will it end November/December sometime? I wish we knew the dates or month.

 

I must say though I am a bit surprised. With the DVD release happening the end of this year or early next.

I agree that the poll should not have been closed. There is NOT an official end date to the show. It is suggested that the show will run thru 2007; however there is nothing 100% official confirming that the show will not go into 2008.

Thanks for being sarcastic. Yeah, your English must be damn good since you're a native English speaker. Well, you must also understand "A New Day... is scheduled to run through to the end of 2007" means the end date will be end of 2007, not 2008 or later.

Your insults were really unnecessary, warning level has been increased. We will not tolerate name calling on this board. To answer your questions, the show has already been extended, the chance of it happening again is very slim. I think Elton will replace her after the contract is over.
