The song that I would LOVE to see is "LCCM." The stage: Have all the dancers dance like the dancers in the music video, and also have a choir. Also have a city on the LCD screen with Céline coming out dancing like she does in the video. I LOVE the stage setup that you have. Thanks Bruno.

Too bad she squeaks through LCMM nowadays. God I hope she sings it properly ONE freakin time for the DVD.

 

I think she should replace WAWW with Imagine. I love the ways she sings that song. It should stay a simple backdrop, maybe have a couple of the dancers just slow dancing together, while images of kids from around the world play on the screen. Kids having fun, and smiling, and playing. Hehe, that sounds cheesy. Sort of just peaceful and positive type images.

i do have some ideas for AND show but just rough ideas

for example

All By Myself in the piano solo part Celine slowly walk up the stairs (the stairs use in TPOL) or just like IDAN Celine walk to the stair thing and let it raise up and sing the high note there... (but maybe not cause it's a bit too much for Celine)

Je Lui Dirai this one i was thinking River Dance i think it's very suitable for this song

The Power Of The Dream or JNVOP - can be the last song with the dancers as choir (it would be emotional)

also ONCP would be great in the show

Hey all!

 

I finally joined Celine Channel! I'm so slow, I know. LOL...anyway, with all the talk about changes coming to "A New Day..." I figured I'd post a link to my site where you can view ideas that I have come up with for songs that could be performed in "A New Day..." Last year I was lucky enough to get these ideas to Barnev! LMAO...so do I! Thanks for the compliments everybody. I would be floored if I got an e-mail or a phone call from Rene or someone from CDA or Dragone saying they want me to fly in and put together a number. However, the chances of that happening are slim to none considering the show's practically over. The only way I could see that happening is if the show was extended, which I know isn't going to happen. Oh well. In a few months I'll be posting my ideas for a Britney Spears show that could be similar to Celine's. I'm in the process of sending the packet off to her, her management, record label, and Dragone as well. ::crosses fingers:: Talk later!

Neat thread. There are nights I put on a bunch of her songs, close my eyes, and create a 'Las Vegas' show in my head...I like it better than her real one, actually!

 

But I wish she's sing Le Ballet, you know...the live versions when she'd play with the instruments at the end. They could show the musician on the big screen and she could improv and...in my head it looks sooooo coooool. I miss her live versions of that...that's when she shines!!!

Here's what I think about every time I hear the bootleg copies of A New Day. Some of it may be the same as the show and some will be of my own doing:

 

A New Day Has Come: I picture her coming down the stairs very slowly and hear glass shatter before she sings A New Day Has Come... I also picture her standing there singing the entire song with dancers surrounding her the entire song.

 

The Power Of Love: I picture her on a cloud singing this song like the music video version and then there are dancers all around dancing with each other like a slow dance. And then the cloud lowers and Céline steps off and sings the last line.

 

It's All Coming Back To Me Now: I picture her laying on a bed and a video of one of the dancers is playing riding the famous motorcycle crashing into a fallen tree branch. Then the music begins and Céline is wandering through a castle backdrop. Then the music ends.

 

Because You Loved Me: Here Céline is sitting on a stool singing to the audience as they are holding up lighters that are swaying side to side and the backdrop is a ballroom setting.

 

To Love You More: Céline is sitting on the stool for the first part of the song then she gets up and dancers are crowding her and they pick her up and they are tossing her around. Then the song ends.

 

I'm Alive: I picture the dancers dancing around the stage as Céline is really belting this one out and then she says I get wings to fly and GOD knows we're alive and as that line is being said heaven is on the screen.

 

Seduces Me: Céline is sitting on the steps and is holding one of the dancers hands and at the instrumental break kisses the dancers hand.

 

If I Could: Céline sitting on the stool again and pictures of RC are shown on the LED screen.

 

At Last: I picture Céline slowly dancing like an ice skater around the stage.

 

Fever: I picture Céline getting into the song by dancing on the flying piano.

 

I've Got The World On A String: Céline is singing on the stool with pictures of the world are shown on the screen.

 

A New Love: Céline singing like she is on a riverboat.

 

I Surrender: Céline singing like she is floating through the night sky.

 

POUR QUE TU M'AIMES ENCORE: Céline singing through a village in Canada on the screen:

 

AMMORE ANNASCUNNUTO: Céline is singing on the stairs. She comes down and hugs an audience member at the end of the song.

 

I Wish: She is singing while the dancers run around like schoolchildren.

 

Love Can Move Mountains: Just like the video except Céline is singing this one live, not playback.

 

I Drove All Night: Céline is in a simulated car singing this one live as well. She also has one of the dancers kid in the backseat giggling.

 

My Heart Will Go On: Like the music video, except there is a ship on the screen and it honks its horn just before Céline starts to sing it live.

 

What A Wonderful World: A screen is showing people in third world countries having all the food and water in the world.

 

Ending: Céline gives the rose to a lucky fan, then hugs them and says that it's okay and then gets back on stage and waits for the audience to quit cheering and whisteling and goes home for the night.

I don't think it's a good idea...but it's better than wear all night the same red dress!!

 

Anyway, in red dress or naked, I want to see hershow...

One of the best thing she could possibly do to the show would be to introduce her band properley. Pointing to them and saying what the instrument is should not be how it's done. For instance, she might say "over here we have percussion and over there we have some beautiful voices". What's that all about? It takes no time at all to say her band members names so I don't get why she has to say things like that. She's worked with them for years and years and they deserve a bit more respect. During the LTAL tour it was incorperated into LCMM and it took about 30-40 seconds so it's not like there isn't time. I think Franco should have scheduled these few seconds to the band and I think Celine and Rene should have pushed for this to happen. It sounds trivial but I find it totally disrespecful not to even say your musicians names when they're with you every night and I think it's nice for the audience to know who's playing for you without having to consult the program each time.
