Her hometown is so scary, it felt so strange knowing I was standing infront of the house where she spent her early years and knowing a little girl used to live there and now that little girl was one of the most famous women in the world. I have loads of pictures of her house and charlemagne including the globe in the town. Charlemagne is about 20mins from Montreal, and when I asked someone directions to Charlemagne they immediately said 'ahhh ville de Celine' I was like yeah Celine. Anyway I dont know how to post pictures from my computer on here so if anyone wants to see the im on msn sillyman8t6@yahoo.com on msn or you can e-mail on the same address and i'll show you the pics, have fun. LOL but it's cool over there.I didn't know the globe was still there 'cause I heard it was too expensive for that little tall to keep it beautiful - as you know in Canada it's very cold and all that so it costs a lot. Anyway.... I was glad to go there. I also visited the church where Celine was baptized - it was the same one where was the funeral of Adhemar. dlh1 Posted February 10, 2006 at 04:29 PM Posted February 10, 2006 at 04:29 PM Charlemagne is really nice town, they have a few nice basic shops like pharmacy and metro and travel agency and they also have a small motel/hotel place, but I didn't stay there because I was only visiting for the day. IT's a quiet place, nobody seems to care much about Celines house, they just pass it and never really look at it. But people do stop and look at you when you take pictures, although I didn't have the courage to go inside the house and speak to the owners because I don't speak much french. Anyway If anyone wants more info on Charlemagne just ask, Ive got a few more pictures and info. Thanks Quote
