Well she says that he is like a brother to her, but I mean look at the chemistry they have in that video and all the others and how they are on stage. I think it's more than just friends. They are best friends she said, they are so close to each other. When they were writing the songs for Love On The Inside and she said to Kristian about the song 'Love'

Jennifer's powerhouse pipes take center stage in this ballad. And that strength comes though in the form of questions, about how you can possibly define love. Is it the face of a child? Kindness in the eyes of a stranger? In a hotel room in Washington D.C., when Sugarland was chasing down the theme of the whole album, the topic of love came up. "No way could you ever narrow it down," Jennifer says of their writing time with Tim Owens ("Settlin’"). There’s love lost, love found, new and old loves. So this tune gets right in the middle, and makes some reaches musically. Kristian's powerful voice is featured for the second half of this song. "When we were writing the back half, Jen said ‘I want you to sing these words I wrote just for you,’" recalls Kristian. "I will always feel special singing those words."

 

and on Incredible Machine she wrote the song 'Shine The Light' just for him and there's a line that says 'I'll hold you in my arms until everything's all right.' Tell me there isn't something more than just a friendship with them. There has to be. I think there's more behind the song 'Stay' than she is fessing up to as well. She says it's not written about anyone specific. I think it is.....

Oh yes I completely agree. I wonder if they will ever admit confess to anything. To me, it seems there's more going on with them but what surprises me is the media hasn't asked them about this a lot? I mean, they hound other people non-stop but I've never seen Jenn and K get hounded about it. Guess it's a perk to not be a teen-idol, but rather good musicians.

I know fans are always assuming they have something going on but J is divorced and K is married with two kids and they are both squeaky clean and don't have any scandals to their names so I guess that's why it's not brought up by anyone but the fans. I hate to say it but if I were K'a wife I would be very curious about their relationship.

 

The only thing they've really been talked about in the media is that crap lawsuit Kristen Hall filed against them and that has nothing to do with J&K's 'relationship'.

Yes she was married young to a man named Todd van sickle he owns a music club in GA called Eddies Attic where Sugarland performed at alot and Kristian still does solo shows there. If the date I saw was true Jenn and Todd were married just short of ten years they divorced in 2007 she would have been 33/34 so she married him around the same age as I am which is 24. Kristan's wife is named Jill and they have a son named Tucker and a daughter Camille who is six he mentioned in an interview for the CMA Christmas that las year she got the 'ultimate' five year old Christmas gift a barbie jeep. So she would be six by now and his son isn't much older probably seven or eight.

I came across a scan of an old ladies home journal interview she did and I believe it was 06, and she talks about wanting to have kids but it wasnt the right time because of touring and everything and she said that she wanted to do it right and there was no other way she was going to raise them but the right way. She also said it was hard to be on the road and away from Todd but that they talked on the phone a lot. Remind me and I'll upload the scan later today, I just put my laptop up for the night. Well all week so far I've been watching the GAC top 50 video's of 2010 countdown and they have made it to 14 tomorrow will be 13 to 1. So far no Sugarland, which could be good. That might mean the video made it to the top 13 or even better top 10 what would really really awesome is if it would be number 1. I'm almost willing to bet I can tell you who will be number one though. Taylor Swift with her video for Mine So far she hasn't been on the countdown. I will end up missing it tomorrow because I'll be at a new years party but they should repeat it in Saturday if not I'll have to find the countdown list online or on GAC and see where 'Stuck Like Glue' is at. I voted every chance I got so I'm hoping the Sugar's made it to the top 10 at least.

 

BTW if you have GAC turn it in right now! Sugarland is performing on the concert tribute to George Straight they sing first! and also again later in the show!

Hello my sweet sugar plums! I hope your holiday has been joyous and filled with much love and warmth and laughter. Mine has been filled with fun, family and food. I have cooked casseroles and chili and pies and scones and more! So fun for me.

 

In the spirit of spreading the love and sharing the warmth, I will be performing a benefit concert for one of my dearest charities, Attic Community Playground. This show will be an intimate solo performance held on January 15th at the Murchison Performing Arts Center of UNT in Denton, Texas. Jack Ingram will be opening. Should be a night of banter, music and, of course, fun for a good cause. Proceeds will go to the Ponder High School Band and Choir Program in Ponder, Texas, and the music program at The Museum School of Avondale Estates, Georgia.

Attic Community Playground (ACP) is a non-profit organization that supports the performing arts. Art programs within schools -- band, chorus, drama, art -- continue to be cut. To me this is a very sad fact in that I not only enjoy a career in the arts, but I also enjoyed and benefited from the performing arts as a kid. Music, band, chorus, drama -- each of them provided me with outlets of emotional exploration and self-expression, and offered me an avenue to develop self-confidence. ACP hopes to help provide students with opportunities for experiencing and studying the arts in an effort to develop their self-expression, emotional exploration and self-confidence.
