But if you're looking for a song that'll be a hit to the public, and a song that other will eat up (not only us, Celine fans), then I'd go with "I Surrender." I have now doubt it'd be a hit... so many people (including Non-Celine fans), know and love the song. Look at all the American Idol performances of the song. It's no secret that this one would be an ultimate hit. Actually, I was surprised when I realized IS wasn't going to be released as a single... I think if it were to be a single, it would've done great, especially in the US, just like TTWII and ANDHC. I dunno why they didn't release it as a single... honostly I honostly always dream about a video for IS... It could also become a dance club hit, because uptempo songs are played in clubs, I think IDAN was on the billboard dance chart. Sorry for Love is as powerful as IS, and captures her voice the same way, but with a beat more appropriate for radio stations today. IDAN didn't do too badly remember? I think it was 14 on the AC charts. It's no sense going back to the past because nothing will ever change, we can only look to the future, and hope Celine's next single will be a hit, and be something like the songs we've mentioned. Let's hope IBIY will prove that Celine still has what it takes to make it on the charts! Quote
