wow yeah really a good move!!

 

LOL I must say I really loved her first album... her second album was so/so and I didn't even buy the 3rd one... I did however got 'Pieces of a dream ' and I really fell in love with Pieces of a dream and In Your Eyes they are high on my favs forever list! LOL and it made me like her again

 

I actually saw her as a support act for Bon Jovi in Amsterdam, that was awesome!

 

Can't wait for the new album!

My favourites are One Day In Your Life, Don'tcha Wanna, Paid My Dues, I'm Outta Love and Not That Kind.

 

It's weird to think she's not that famous in the States, she was pretty huge here in the UK in the early 2000's, but she hasn't done anything big in a while.

she's been working on her clothing line for a few years and had a perfume out but now its time to get back to business

 

my fave album has got to be the 3rd ANASTACIA. A perfect mix of pop and rock with amazing songs like

Rearview, Left Outside Alone, Seasons Change, Sick and Tired and a few more.

From the Pieces of a dream album In your eyes and Pieces of a dream and Everything Burns with Ben Moody are my Top favourites.

 

I was very lucky to be at the album launch party for her Greatest Hits album and that night she did a cover of Dream On from Aerosmith. I couldnt find a vid of it but I did find one from a concert in Denmark:

She tried but somehow it never worked out for her but right now she is happy to be anonymous at home and have a career outside the US (mainly

in Europe). She has the best of both worlds this way.

She said she loves the artistic freedom she has over here and that in the US its hard for her as they cant put a lable on her and they dont really know what to do with her as her voice doesnt match her appearance.

 

To make it big in the US she would have to do some serious promotion for at least a year. But that would also mean she wont be able to come to Europe and she would lose her anonymity back home and its very unlikely she would want to do that at this point in her career.

Her career in Europe is too big she said to take on the US which basically means she doesnt need the US to have a career. She's happy and so am I as we get to see a lot of her. Doing 3 tours in 2 years is prove of that

So bring on the album I say Should be out in october.

It has been reported that Anastacia herself has cancelled her contract with Clothing-Giants s.Oliver so she could end the line to fully concentrate on music-= her new album. It was also then later reported that she had left Sony BMG [Of whom she has been with for a little under 9 years now since 1999], and has signed a contract under Universal. President David Massey (who has managed Anastacia's career for a few years now), left Sony BMG, taking his artists with him and in result Anastacia is now signed under the label 'Mercury', home to artists such as: Bloc Party, Elton John, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Rihanna, U2 and manny more.

 

A few month ago, she was spotted (hardly spotted, as it looked more arranged for paps to turn up) having a meeting with Sven Kilthau-Lander, who is in charge of Universal Germany Promotional Director, who later announced that he was discussing album plans with Anastacia and that the album itself would be out in the last quater of 2008.

 

Kara Dioguardi, who has co-written songs with Anastacia before [Welcome To My Truth, Get Ready, Pretty Little Dum Dum, I Do, Seasons Change, Rearview, Where Do I Belong, I Belong To You & The Saddest Part], posted in a blog on her website that she has finished final album cuts with artists such as Anastacia.

 

Since then, few more producers have been rumoured to of been called it, all of whom rumoured are Ne-Yo, Taio Cruz, Kara Dioguardi, Guy Chambers, Lester Mendez, JR Rotem & Rodney Jerkins. It has only also just been rumoured and reported that the album is scheduled for release on November 14th, 2008.

The silence has been broken. After a long period of silence Anastacia left a personal message on her website:

She left Sony and is now with Mercury Records so they are working on a new official site. Love the new logo as well

I first heard of her when her Freak of Nature album came out and that was really famous for a while but then after that I didn't hear anything about her. I do like her as a singer though. I think she has a really unique voice. but Celine's is better. (couldn't resist)

I love her! And I can't wait to have her new album!

I saw her 5 times, 4 concerts and the recordin of "I Belong To You" at TOTP, and I met her three times!

She is a great singer and an amazing person too!

I LOVE the way she's connected with her fans, her "FaNily", as she calls us!

 

Her last album "Anastacia" is the best she's done til now, in my opinion. Well, it's sprock and she's the only one that sings this way!!!

 

She's coming back in a few months, I'm pretty sure we'll hear/see her in semptember, maybe even at the end of august!

Well, the last news we got is that "heavy rotation" is just a rumor (thanks god!) but the 24th is confirmed.

The first single is going to be on the radio from the 1° september. Just one month left!
