I gave my two weeks notice today, my last day will be the 27th so I can get a 3 day weekend before I start my new job. I got some Celine goodies this week. Finally received 4 calendars I bought from some guy in the UK. Took 4 weeks to get them. I have no idea why so long since it never takes more than 7 days in the past from other UK people. Oh well. I also have a Celine magnet and the Heroes book coming sometime

That's the cream of the crop, a DOG act? Don't get me wrong, although I am a cat-lover, I think dogs are adorable and I'm sure they will do okay in Vegas. But when you think about America having talent? that's not usually the first thing I think of anyway, can't talk for the rest of the world because apparently they do.William Close's act is not traditionally what's thought of as conventional talent either, but that uniqueness is actually what made me like him. We've seen animal acts before, we have never seen anything like him, or the sand painter either for that matter...So yes, very disappointing night last night...And Adi, sorry apartment-hunting isn't going well...Believe Me, I know what that's like...especially in a new city... I am a huge animal lover myself but I don't think this competition is meant for them. I remember this particular dog got scared when they were giving out the awards and run from the stage so that the owner had to chase after it.

But the reason William should have won was because he was original, a dog act is not. People train dogs to do tricks all the time. William came up with, designed and built all his instruments. No one has ever done what he has done before. He is a true talent and deserved at least second place but no way did he deserve third or should he have placed third. The judges were in total shock, everyone thought he would win. I did everything I could to vote for him every time he performed. I wanted him to win this so badly.
