I'm not sure how they did it! Just an idea but that makes sense. :shrug:

Saturday I will be performing with my folk band at a festival :clap: I'm soooo looking forward to it!! We are printing cd's at the moment, our very own first cd with 6 songs written by us :) I'm sooo exciteeeed!

Zoe, I would love to see your list of singers who make you stray from Celine. That has to be a very small list and those people have to be magnificent!!!!!

If you really want to see just how powerful she can be then watch this song 'Stay' she wrote it herself and the only insturment used in the video is her band mate Kristian's guitar. It's just her voice and the guitar and her raw emotions. She wasn't faking those tears in the video.

 

 

Also check out the collaboration they did with Matt Nathanson called 'Run'. Any of the music from Sugarland show cases her voice.

 

And sfbaysinger she and J Rome did 'I will always love you' she and John Glossin did MHWGO I posted a topic about it but there is a lot of people who thought it was terrible.

My bad, Amanda, you're right it was her and John. While that's not a duet song, I actually have heard that song being done way, way worse. Overall, all things considered, I think they did it well. She has the best duet partners of Any Other Professional Singer on that show, including the other female singer whom everyone here KNOWS I can't stand. I think one of her folks will win. Every other pro has lost 1 of their partners But Jennifer. She is clearly the best pro on the show and is doing something right.

I've always thought she has a good voice, Very Unique. I'm not really a big Sugarland fan, more of a Lady A fan. But my respect for her as a singer/person has grown through seeing how she handles things/people on Duets. And she's pregnant. How exciting! She and Kristian just seem like such nice people.

And I love `Stay`. I have got to give it to her for that one and how tastefully and low/laid back they did that song. They kept it simple/basic so the real meaning could come through. I know this is not the Sugarland topic, as that's not a place I'll be visiting often, but still.

 

Where is that topic, Amanda? In OT or discussions?

We had a new person join the clay class today and she Loves Celine! Soooooooo excited...

I've said it before but I'll say it again, I'm tickled pink and thrilled for Jenn and Justin and little baby Miller or as they call him or her 'their little love on the inside'.

 

Ya know, it kinda sucks when your best friend of 14 years is gonna move out of state and another best friend says they are considering it too :(

The heat is killing me ! Even though I didn't think this yesterday, I now realize that I would have really, really liked to see her before the summer vacation. Even if I know that I'm going to see her, I'm scared that things are going to change (would not surprise me from my school !).

That sucks :confused: Why?

Well basically it boils down to the fact she found an apartment there for 450 a month, which she could easily find here but she wants to move. The sucky part is I can't afford to travel to see her. She also found a job she wants down there.
