I'm excited to hear that this story had an impact to others as well I loved the book Extremely loud and incredibly close and I think I cried too while reading it.I have a story related to this book. I looked from the librarys search that they had this book but I could not find it from the shelf. So I went and asked librarian where I could find this book and she went to get this book from another room. She gave it to me and said that I can read it if I want but it is in a bad shape, it has underlines and other messiness inside. They were going to put this book away. I read the book and realised that it was meant to be like this with all the underlines. They were printed. When I returned the book I told them not to put it away because it is an incredibly good book and secondly it was meant to be that way. Here is one picture of a page: the page with markings.
