With no true multi-tasking, weird People hub (I hate it when my FB contacts get merged with Phone contacts), no 1080p video recording, I'd say it's better to wait for Windows Tango, which should be out somewhere around mid-2012. Also, the rumoured Nokia Lumia 900 would be much better than the Lumia 800 (but that depends if you wanna go for Nokia) and I don't like the cheap plastic built of Lumia 710. As for the other manufacturers, I don't trust Samsung at all. Unless they brush up their A.S.S., I'm not spending any money on them. HTC's line-up doesn't excite me at all though. As for Android, unless its ICS, I'd not even go for it. But then again, other than Galaxy Nexus (so-so built quality) and the Nexus series, no other manufacturer is gonna get ICS untill Feb 2012. Also, even though if you buy one and it is upgraded to ICS, the four Android buttons would look weird considering ICS requires only three. The battery issue is also there. Considering you're using a Nokia, don't expect the great battery life that you've been getting from your 5800 from any Android phone. Heck, I use an iPhone (which relatively has a better battery life than the Android phones) and it still sucks in comparison to the juice I get from my Nokia E72. Try them out. Read reviews. When it comes to Windows Phone, MS hasn't sorted it out that well, but the UI is fantastic! The only problem is, that it's quite early to really judge on it and unless MS takes care of it with its next iteration i.e., Tango, I won't put my money on any phone running on 'Mango' as it's quite new and has lots of issues which I don't wanna encounter, especially multi-tasking. Yes, the card view is nice to have, but it still doesn't suffice for me and I'm really waiting to see what it's gonna bring to the table. Android is great. No wonder its the largest platform for smartphones. But a minor gripe I have against it is, a new iteration comes out almost every 6 months and today's "Best Android Phone" becomes totally redundant. Look what happened to Galaxy SII. Lord knows what'll happen when all manufacturers will start coming out with brand new phones with ICS (and its later versions) on it. I don't even mind having an 'old' phone but damn, they should really do something about battery life. From what I've been reading, not even Galaxy Nexus can last one full day on a single charge with moderate use and this phone runs the stock Android with no nonsense skins like Blur, Sense UI, TouchWiz etc. I really hope they do something about it very soon. I really want to jump ship to Android and was ready to with the new Nexus, but damn, they just had to have Samsung as the manufacturer now I'm not saying that all new phones suck, but that very exciting things are in store for us in 2012. Before you decide, won't it be possible for you to wait a little while longer, lets say, until the CES 2012?

The screen problem is getting worse So yeah, I'm hoping it'll live till next year cuz there's not one phone that I really really really want. I had my eye on Nexus.
