I know that this space is for whats on your mind, and I apologize if whats on my mind right now is not on Celine. Our present president of these united states is taking all our rights away from us. Obama said we are no longer a country of Christians; we can't say Merry Christmas; we no longer put up CHRISTmas trees, they are holiday trees. Are we going to stand for this or are we going to do something about it. Obama has finally admitted to being a muslim which he should never have taken office as his birth certificate was definately false. I do not know any president in the past that would have sat in the presidents chair without everything in order.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, DON'T LET THE REST OF THE UNITED STATES THAT WE OWN BE TAKEN AWAY. THE GREEDY CEO'S HAVE SOLD OUR COUNTRY OFF PIECE BY PIECE TO OTHER COUNTRIES. GET EVERYONE YOU KNOW TO HELP FIGHT THIS. OUR KIDS AND GRAND KIDS WILL LIVE LIKE THE PEOPLE OF HITLER'S TIME. IS THIS WHAT WE WANT? THINK REAL HARD ON WHO YOU ELECT IN THE NEXT ELECTION.

Thank you for sharing, Cynthia. It's okay if what's on your mind is something other than the point of the forum. There comes a time for everything and it doesn't make you any less of a fan, No way.

It is annoying that we can't say Merry Christmas anymore. I have differing beliefs of course as Christmas was originally Yule, a harvest holiday, but I believe anyone should get to say anything they want.

Now I knew religion adn politics make topics and friendships very heated very fast, so I don'y want us to get in to this too much. Just want to validate you, Cynthia and thank you for your boldness, bravery and courage to speak out. May peace on earth and good will to all men prevail!!

To clarify for those who are curious:

A chain email reportedly has popped up that the White House will take the "Christmas" out of "Christmas tree" -- and that the 19-foot balsam fir delivered Friday morning will be referred to as a "holiday" tree. The email, which first appeared in 2009, is false.

In 2009, White House spokeswoman Kate Bedingfield said the "letter referenced in the email does not exist," and "the trees in the White House will be called Christmas trees, and the tree on the Ellipse will be called the National Christmas tree."

After Obama took office, he kept the subject of religion almost entirely private. But in August 2010, a national poll found that 1 in 5 Americans believed Obama was Muslim...In September 2010, speaking to a group in Albuquerque, he broke his relative silence on the subject, saying he was a "Christian by choice" and that the "precepts of Jesus Christ spoke" to him in terms of the kind of life he wanted to lead.

I live in DC and I can verify, as someone who is attending the tree lighting ceremony, that it is advertised as and will always be called a Christmas tree. :yes:

Hey so I told you guys me and Christina have a big announcement to make. Well, it's time to say it!! We are together now. Together meaning in a relationship. I know a few couples on here have been trying the long distance thing and I thought we would jump on the bandwagon. It's not long distance as in New York-South Africa. (Ahem!!) But, I live in So Cal and she lives in Nor Cal. Neither of us know how it really happened... we like to call it a Celine thing.

We are going to try to make this work the best way can and know how to, but it's going to be difficult to not be physically together. Does anyone have any advice for us? We would love some!! We already skype, so don't suggest that. Lol. PM me or her for more info or if you want to give us advice. Love you all! :heart:

I'm in a long distance relationship and it's very very hard. We speak everyday and send many txt messages every single day but it's not the same as being physically together. Also my girl is very busy, she plays ringette as a goalkeeper and has practise almost every day + games almost every weekend. I believe she has only 3 weekends in a season when she doesn't have games or practise. So even if I travel to see her, she's just practising, playing or focusing on the game. We've been talking about me moving closer to her, but that's not going to happen any time soon. I'm telling you, it's not easy. But if you really like/love each other, don't give up. There will be a day when you can live together. I'm personally counting on that and that gives me strength to carry on..

Today is a national holiday in Argentina because it commemorates the National Sovereignty Day http://www.emoticonos3d.com/General/World/26_22_6.gif...

Although in reality this day should be celebrated on November 20, to boost mini-tourism for the long weekend, it has been moved to today. :shrug:

Thank you all for the good wishes and advice. This is definitely quite a ride!!!

I hate banks and all financial institutions. They should have told me to deposite a check and it would be all okay, instead they sent me traipsing through the whole plaza where I live and it is going to end up being okay, but still, I could just shoot a few people.

I need to tone it down in a few things I discovered. I am sorry if I have been too vocal about certain interests/passions of ine, let's just say. I need to learn to censor, water down and be silent in some things because while people might like it too they don't want to hear about it all the time. And last night someone cared enough about me to point out that certain feelings of mine are a bit weird and abnormal and that I make certain things more than they really are. I don't, in my mind, but my behavior says differently. As a kid, I was raised to live and have emotions in silence, so I need to go back to the time when I could like something but keep it to myself so I didn't infect the whole world with it. In my family, if you had to feel really passionate about something, you kept it inside, I guess that's what I need to do again.
