He had 2 concerts, one in Helsinki and one in Tampere. Stupid work, always messing things up. oh and it was his first time in Finland. I can usually come up with enough to pass essay questions. As for the definitions we gotta write out, well I'm just gonna have to guess on those and wing it and hope the rest of the test I can get enough points on. We are reviewing for the test today anyway. I got to meet my favorite person ever, Alison Krauss, and spend ten minutes backstage with her with no other fans. And I have so many thoughts and feelings and it's just overwhelming trying to write about it. Especially because she was exactly how I wanted her to be. And she was like Celine. In fact, here's something that I wrote about meeting her that included something about Celine in it: Not long ago, I sort of made Africa watch Celine Dion's fan tribute where Celine is just amazing to her fans. She was definitely a little more guarded than Alison was (because with Celine, it was a room full of people, but it was just us and Alison in the room), but still so beautiful and personable and everything we wanted Alison to be. Africa and I agonized over how Alison would never be like that, and how badly we wished she could be like that. I've never been happier about being absolutely dead wrong. Alison was all of that and more. It never occurred to me until Africa mentioned it in the car and I wanted to just melt because the way she treats her fans is the reason I fell in love with Celine. So to have Alison be like that and more is just beyond unreal (and is making me want to cry as I write this on my plane home) and I fell in love with her a little more after this weekend. I just don't know where to START trying to write this!
