I need to go get dressed, my ex will be here in a little while....I may wait till he calls and says he is on his way. It will take him fifteen to twenty minutes to get here when he calls anyway. I don't need that long to get dressed....I'm rather comfy in my new pj's :laughing:

I always laugh when I think about 'My Story, My Dream' because when I was in school a loooooong time ago, like elementary school in the 80s, I wrote a small book for class called, 'My Life, My Dreams'

ahahaha you're right! I did start in 88 but I prob didn't write that book until 3rd grade or so-

Ugh really don't want to go over to my new in-laws house tonight. I have been avoiding them since Christmas, when my lovely new mother - in -law locked me in the bathroom and wouldn't let me out until I told her why I wanted to hurt her son the way I did because I didn't want to help clean up the house after dinner.... INSANE. She's insane.

After a meal, all the women in his family are "expected" to clean up the kitchen and dining room while the men go sit down and watch tv or play video games. I'm sorry, but I just don't even think so. I do my part, I clean up my mess and grab what's around me, but you will not catch me scrubbing the countertops while they play shoot em up games and laugh in the living room. Besides, there's already 10 women in a tiny kitchen trying to clean up enough for one woman to do....it's insane.

Now if I decide to help clean up and I see a NEED for me to help, then I will. But don't just EXPECT me to because I am a a woman and I married your son. He ain't worth that. hahahahhaha

May seem silly, and it is, but now the whole family hates me even more. And my husband is taking their side. He stood there as I was locked in the bathroom like a little wimp with his mommy and wouldn't do anything while I yelled profanities at her to let me out :lmao: Then she tries to knock my family by saying, "You must have been raised the wrong way to not want to be a part of this family and help out." If I had had a clear shot, B!@$% woulda been slapped.

bahaha anyways- rantttt. His brother is in from Japan for the holidays (he had to go for work for 18 months) and they are having a going away party tonight for him so I mean I feel bad about not going but I just don't want to be there. They don't say a WORD to me and make fun of me behind my back...it's just LOVELY. .

How do you deal with a mother-in-law from hell?

I can't believe it's 2011 already!

I remember watching movies in 198? something and 2010 was a very futuristic year. We were supposed to have flying cars, robots everywhere, very futuristic clothes that fit you by just pressing one button (Back to the future movies)

But this is the year I've been waiting for

I will FINALLY get my own home

I will FINALLY make another Las Vegas trip

And I will FINALLY meet people that I only know from speaking with online.

And celebrate my 10th Céline Dion Concert/show

Yep, we start at 5 AND I am also a genius. No hahahaha. :laugh: But we do start at 5. Most kids do Pre-school too from 3-5, but I didn't. My parents "taught" me at home every night by just hanging out with me more than pre-school would have! When do you start school in SA?

I know, right? Insane! She locks me in the bathroom and won't let me out and thinks I'm going to have a conversation with her about this under these circumstances? I asked her nicely to let me out because I wasn't going to talk about it like that and then she made the comment about my upbringing and well, patience kinda flew out the window.

I do try not to instigate things with them/her, but I will defend myself when I need to.

I just try to remove myself from the situation and hope it blows over enough that I can rejoin the family stuff later. There's no resolving it which is unfortunate. I like to resolve things.

i come from a family where we never had any drama of any kind. We had arguments and conflict but we worked it out. I don't like it haha. It's Carazzzzzzzy.

PS I don't know how to multi-quote. I knew at one time and then magically forgot. :lmao:

PPS- no exciting news after all- false alarm, Space Rangers. Maybe after Vegas in March :baby:

We only start the year when you turn 7. Sometimes you can start at the age of 6, but they first do a bunch of tests and stuff to determine if you are ready for school.
