I'm hoping the weather doesn't get bad before I can go home. I'm at my bffs house and I have a final Tuesday that I have to take. If I'm at her house I can at least get to campus... I live on a road the isn't a main road so they don't clear it when it gets bad. I might be better off here she lives in an area near the main roads so they would get cleared and she could take me to campus.

uuh..what a weekend. Our Christmas party was FUUUN! snow shoe walking was so hard, I think we walked for 60 minutes only but we climbed some crazy hills..I almost died. It was a great exercise. I made a mistake during the dinner, had some red wine and that gave me a migraine. Thank god it wasn't a bad one so after 3 hours I was back in the game...couldn't drink anything but water but I didn't care.

Jesus wat a stressful weekend... finished the nursery, food shopping ( one of my biggest hates ), diy around the house ( another hate ) and not alot of sleep, I feel like a zombie today!

Xmas tree and decorations are up, I have bought and wrapped all my Xmas pressies, cards are in the post, and this weekend the nursery will be finished!

 

So I can have a stress free Xmas this year for a change

The e-mail I sent to the radio station worked. They are playing a different Celine Christmas song everyday now. Earlier this weekend they played ''Don't Save It All for Christmas Day'', last night ''Christmas Eve'' and now ''The Magic of Christmas Day''. We are saved from ''Feliz Navidad''.

Why, what happened last Monday?

I've had an electrician in the house fixing the boiler for the past 4 hours. He and the plumber were here for 6 hours on Thursday. How difficult can one boiler be?

 

Luckily they are working for the builders and don't need paying. Despite me buying the house 2 years ago. That's a very welcome event, as there's nothing left in the bank account until payday on Thursday.

I'm very close to booking my flights to Vegas. Would you guys pay $20 more for a non-stop flight, leave 2 hours later in the morning, shorter trip, and arrive at the same time as the flight with 1 stop? The only downside is the departing airport is not in the city and have to pay a toll (less than $10) to cross the tunnel on the way back. I'll also have to take the train if I cannot get a ride. It's about the same distance as the other 2 major airports here.
