me too been sick for 5 days while studying for finals :cry:

I got luck this time! One class we didn't have a final, I made a C for my final grade which is great! My outdoor rec I got to opt out of the final and I made a B in the class and I just took my first final yesterday morning and I think I totally aced it! I have my criminal justice final next Monday and that's it! I only need a D on it to make a B in the class! I thought I was going to be dead meat with my grades and GPA this time but things are looking really good! Such a relief! ^_^

 

Don't stress to much! Feel better! Get a lot of rest!

The radio station I'm listening to is still stuck on ''Feliz Navidad''. They played it for the 10th time this year already at 4 this morning. I think I should get started on that e-mail...

 

Got my computer back yesterday. It is such a big mess. None of my stuff is where it is suppose to be. At this stage I can't even tell if everything is still there. It is gonna take me forever to get everthing back to the way it was. And they put Windows 7 on my computer now half of my programs doesn't want to work anymore and I first have to upgrade everything. My facking modum is not working, so I'll have to buy a new one because it is apparantly to slow for Windows 7.

^ I've never heard of a modem being too slow for a computer O.o mine's several years old now, since the Vista days I think. That's just weird

:shrug: That is what the guy at Vodacom is telling me. I think it has something to do with the 64-bit and 32-bit thing. If you ask me they just want me to buy a new one. I don't know, but it doesn't want to work. I had Vista before my graphics card decided to break and everything worked fine. That is what ticks me off. Nobody asked me whether or not I wanted Windows 7, they just installed it. And if I ask them to roll back, I will probably lose everything, so I'm just gonna buy one and get it over with.

It works on my laptop and my mom's laptop and both has Vista on it, so it must have something to do with Windows 7. I bought the modum about 4 years ago, so I don't know... maybe it is not compatable :shrug: These days it is so hard to keep up with technology...

You mean the modum's driver? Yes, I think so. I can connect with it, but it only gets GPRS, it doesn't want to get 3G. On my laptop I get 3G, so it has nothing to do with the signal. I first thought that was what the problem was so I phoned Vodacom and the guy told me everybody using that same modum and Windows 7 has the same problem (they've had countless complaints). It is too slow, so I'll have to upgrade the modum itself. And what I know about computers is dangerous, so I didn't question him.

I shee. It is very weird...ah well. They should've asked whether you wanted Windows 7 or not in the first place. Did they upgrade only or did they do a reformat?

^^Linds I worked at a daycare for a year, it won't make you want a baby any less. At least me it didn't, though I know I'm not in any type of position to have a baby of my own. For one I don't even have a boyfriend let alone a husband :giggle: and I don't have a job, money or a house of my own.

 

So excited to get to the store and see if People is out yet! I'm totally getting my hands on a copy whether my aunt likes it or not! :bounce:

Yes it should be out, today is the 8th. I am buying a copy and I'm asking my friends aunt who subscribes to People to send me her copy after she's done if she doesn't care.
