I can't believe this December it will be 8 years since my mom passed away :cry:

what happened to celebrity city? I tried to go look at a request I made to see if it had been filled and I get a message about the board not being there anymore. Then an even stranger message saying

 

This board is no longer hosted here

 

Don't be sad, I'm sure it will return elsewhere

 

I'm afraid I reached the end of my patience

 

It certainly seems fishy to me when the board was working just an hour or so ago and yesterday the owners wife said he'd be back soon. :hmm: I think they've been hacked.

Well so far I've found out that one of the admins deleted celebrity city from the server! :jawdrop: I didn't know anyone but the owner could make the choice and his wife just said he'd be back so why did this happen!? This is terrible! I absolutely love CC!

Well it looks like CC is gone for good, from what I've been told this admin who had another board called Nylon got fed up with other members on CC and deleted it from the server. The only way it will be back is if the owner Dlewis comes back and brings the board back with his own money and I don't think that will happen his wife is out of work as is he because of the stroke. Also enough donations weren't coming in so he only wanted to host his site from what I've been told. Edited by Belle Céline

I hope so, it was a great site that a lot of people loved. Things don't look hopeful though, David due to his stroke cannot work and his wife had to quit her job to care for him. They only made it day to day pretty much from donations from members at Celebrity City.

 

btw is anyone here really good at graphics? Like the one in my signature? I need something made but with the CC board down John X who makes my graphics cannot make them and I was wanting a new graphic.

I'm not sure exactly, I could probably ask some of the other members they might know. I know a few on other boards. I did find out though through a reliable source at the CC board that it WILL be back, but not until the owner Dlewis comes back to it. I'm not sure how long that will be but his wife Pat sounded optimistic in saying he would be back to the board soon.

 

Oh gosh if the Celine Forum ever closed I would be lost! I feel like I have so many friends here! Of course whether or not they consider me a friend is a totally different story :laugh: but I would be very sad, I have such a fun time here talking to everyone and sharing HQ photos ^_^

No I was on holiday!! :wink: It was great! even though the weather sucked! :glare: But now I am back! :whip: :whip: :laugh:

 

I've seen soooooo many dutch cars here this summer (must've been 10x the usual amount) and I felt so sorry for them, the weather has sucked the past month. Can't we at least give the tourists some sun? :(

Being able to now attend the premiere of Celine's new show is looking more and more real. :)

I just have to see if I can get tickets, and then find a nice hotel on the strip that caters for young babies, and then its all systems go... book our flights and get some spending money!
