Then i looked in the corner, and there sat a poor gray dove with torn up wings, half its feathers torn out, and deep gashes on its side. It was sooo sad. How was it still alive?!? I'll never know! We waited until my dad got home so he would take care of that problem. He looked at it, and said"It's a goner, we've got to put it down, out of its misery." So he got his pellet gun, told us to stay inside, and shot it. He shot it in the head once, it didn't die So it flopped around. Then he shot it once more. It was dead He sgot it in the head twice, so blood was all over it, and splattered in the corner like a murder scene. He cleaned up the mess. Then it was over.
