Damn, so many pinned topics in the "Celine" section. I think 3 is a good sized number for the OT section. Any more and I would mentally freak out  FIFA is going back down in a week after Holland wins later today. Edited by Edwin

I just heard that my dad's cousin has died this morning. I haven't cried in 10 months, so now the tears came. He had liver cancer and apparently the doctors had just found out it had spread all over...

I wasn't THAT close to him, but he was always so warm and heartful and generous, and he cared for my dad, and us kids especially lot. We didn't see him that often cause he lived in another city, but it was only three weeks ago that he came to buy some bread from me as I was working in the bakery shop (he was visiting in his summer cottage), and he gave me a big warm hug and as he was leaving he handed me 20 euros as a little "summer money". He was always like that, so warm. :) It had been a year that I had seen him, so now I feel very glad that I got to see him only a couple of weeks ago, as he is now gone all of a sudden. I don't know how big of a deal this is to my dad.

Haha. It was a figure of speech Davey84 :P

Has anyone ever really eaten octupus? My mom and dad did once and said it was rubbery and nasty, lol. I have never had an urge to try it since then, lol.

We usually eat cuttlefish, kinda similar to octupus, but not the same.

The past two hours i've been in the pool and the whole time i've been saying "Take a kayak, take a kayak, their dying, their dying!!"

The funny part is that none of my family knows what i'm talking about. Haha i said it was an inside joke.

I'll show them the clip later. I'm also going to make a video of me saying that.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss Reamary

I don't believe you have to be close to someone to feel sadness on their passing, i think that is what makes us human

I agree! we feel sadness for each other, just as we share happiness with each other.

Sorry for your loss, Reamary
