but I've read that the voice was there, yet there were problems with the orchestration.

She apparently sang some belts of "I Surrender" as well and sounded fantastic supposedly.

I heard she sang Les blues du businessman and Je ne vous oublie pas but only Les blues was live...

I also heard Pour que tu m'aimes encore of Il Divo was not that great live?

alright guys - the worst performance of celine in years...i'm really sorry she performed that song knowing that her voice is not on top shape...

she was off tune more than once , could NOT hit the notes right...could NOT hold it strong...her voice was so rasspy and not clear...like as if she smoked something before - u could see on her face that she is really nervous and doesnt like the outcome .

now i believe her - she said her vocals were not there that night and it's obvious .

She had sang it better in the past! But it wasn't SO bad!

She hold some powerful notes and it sounded good! I loved it!

She put a lot of emotion in it!

I loved this performance. She sounded so fraigl yet so strong. I think it's brave of her to sing and knowing she's not in top shape. I haven't see IBIY but I saw the rest and I liked it. Is anyone able to make a mp3 of LBDB??

At least you got to see Celine...People from England and other places don't get to see anything of Celine, only on the internet.

 

The point is that Celine performed, whether it was playback or not.

 

And even if she was bad at the live songs it shouldn't matter...It seems to me that a certain member of this forum is doing their best to knock Celine at every chance they can get.

No, it's different: we want to hear different opinions, but no need to repeat more than once how much you are disgusted by this performance. Okay, you didn't like it, but you cannot expect that here, among Céline's fans, we can be happy or agree with you. A bad comment ONCE is enough. Thank you.

I can't believe some of the remarks here.

 

LBDB is my favorite song, and I thought she performed very well. If you didn't like the performance, then maybe the song isn't for you. Berger's and Plamondon's songs are an acquired taste, they're not for everyone to enjoy.
