Alone has been played in the Philippines too and is more accepted than Taking Chances.

It's so obvious that the reviewer does not like Celine, he probably didn't listen to the cd except

for a few clips of the songs he's mentioned. It was very unprofessional and if this guy writes for

a living he should give it up. There's nothing helpful orconstructive in the review at all. So all in all,

this guy is an idiot. It's just a shame it's published in a big magazine like Rolling Stone.

 

On the bright side, I see many of Celine's fans have written counter reviews that were quite clever.

Here's the Chinese edition "Taking Chances" album. It's a single CD in a DVD long box. The lyrics book is a poster size paper folded into DVD size. There's a sticker on the cover tells about "A New Day... Live in Las Vegas" DVD would be released soon in China.

 

BTW, I'm surprised that "China Mobile" added ringtone of all songs from Taking Chances. That's part of SONYBMG China promotion for sure.

folks anybody here owns the regular cd version of taking chances with celine's right eye printed at the back cover? i saw all editions of TC but i was kinda shocked when i discovered that this version exists. is this version 'also' official? or is it just edited by someone?

Is this Chinese CD an Authentic official SonyBMG one, because when I was in China, they had loads of fake unofficial CDs in the stores, like D'elles double CD which had miracle album and loads of other songs on it, and it was made by Universal records and there was loads of spelling mistakes on it lol, it only cost me about £2 but still, and this was in a store in china lol.

Yes. I can confirm it's the official Chinese edition released by SONYBMG China. Or I won't buy it. Every Celine album since Live A'Olympia has Official Chinese edition. But you need to be careful, cause there're many fake ones too. If you can't read Chinese, it would be hard to distinguish.

An Audience with Celine Dion

 

On 22nd December Celine took centre stage in An Audience with Celine Dion on ITV.

 

Celine performed the one-off show in front of a star studded audience that included Dame Kelly Holmes, Shane Ward, Lemar, Westlife, Shane Ritchie, Louis Walsh, Nancy Dell’Olio, George Takei, Katie Price and Peter Andre. She also performed a variety of her greatest hits, including, Think Twice, I Drove All Night and Alone plus tracks from the new album.

 

The show will be repeated again on ITV if you missed it the first time. We’ll keep you posted.

 

 

 

World Tour

 

Celine opens her first worldwide tour in 10 years on February 14th, 2008 in Johannesburg, giving a benefit concert for the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund.

 

Celine will then perform a further 7 shows in South Africa during February, contributing additional proceeds from these shows to Mr. Mandela's Children’s Fund.

 

From South Africa the tour makes stops in the Middle East, Japan, Korea, China, Australia and New Zealand, Europe and North America, playing both stadiums and arenas throughout. The year-long tour will visit 5 continents, over 25 countries, and more than 100 cities.

 

UK dates are as follows:

Friday 2/5/08 - MEN Arena, Manchester

Saturday 3/5/08 - MEN Arena, Manchester

Tuesday 6/5/08 - O2 Arena, London

Thursday 8/5/08 - O2 Arena, London
