Celine To Perform At Ste. Justine Hospital's Centennial!

June 25 , 2007

 

On August 4, Celine is scheduled to perform a private concert for the patients and staff of Ste. Justine hospital to help celebrate their Centennial ! Celine and René are the godparents of the 'Growing up Healthy' campaign for the Ste. Justine Hospital Foundation. For more information about the organizations 'Celine Supports,' click here !

Dans le cadre des célébrations du Centenaire de Sainte-Justine, une grande fête privée destinée aux employés et aux enfants du centre hospitalier universitaire est en préparation. Céline Dion, le Cirque du Soleil ainsi que plusieurs artistes de renom ont tous gracieusement accepté d’y participer.

 

Pour souligner les 100 ans de Sainte-Justine à faire grandir la vie, cet événement est spécialement conçu pour la communauté de Sainte-Justine et aura lieu le 4 août prochain. Puisque cette fête se fera en privé, des pourparlers sont présentement en cours pour assurer une éventuelle diffusion télévisuelle qui sera destinée au grand public.

« Cette grande fête permet au Centenaire de Sainte-Justine de remercier, de manière toute spéciale, les employés, les médecins, les retraités, les bénévoles et les enfants de Sainte-Justine pour leurs efforts et les batailles qu’ils livrent au quotidien » de souligner Michel Pauzé, président du Centenaire de Sainte-Justine.

 

Une équipe bénévole travaille présentement à la réalisation de cette grande fête afin d’assurer le succès de l’événement. L’équipe vise également à permettre aux enfants alités, qui ne pourront assister en personne à l’événement, d’être aussi de la fête grâce à une diffusion en circuit fermé à l’intérieur même du CHU.

 

« Nous sommes honorés et très fiers de pouvoir compter sur la collaboration de Céline Dion, marraine de Sainte-Justine. Nous remercions chaleureusement René Angélil, le Cirque du Soleil ainsi que l’Équipe Spectra et les responsables du collège Jean-de-Brébeuf et HEC Montréal de leur grande collaboration afin de fêter Sainte-Justine, en ce centième anniversaire, » de dire Michel Pauzé. « Une fête qui, j’en suis certain, saura faire vibrer la communauté de Sainte-Justine toute entière » d’ajouter le président du Centenaire.

I'm sure we all appreciate the article but it would be fantastic if whoever posts a foreign language article in the English section would at least give us a summary of what it says, or at least the bolded and underlined part!

Yeah i totaly agree with celine fanatic I think the person should underline the special areas of the article and if it is televised it that would be great if not the kids will have a great memory if they do go to the private concert for the rest of thier lives i think it's a great idea. :msn-wink: :thumbsup2: :thumbsup2: :thumbsup2: :thumbsup2: :)

Guys you may go look and go to the first best translating machine on the web and translate the highlighted sentence. It will get you an idea. It's not hard to do. :)

 

BTW it says Céline is ending her English career and will never sing in English again. :beta:

Uhm, when do you think NEXT fall is?

During the recording of the CHAIR ballad, Mathias! You know it! When Robert falls there's FALL and there's the St. Justine special concert. :D
