well not much for the tracklist... but at least we get the 500 choir version of JNVOP and the karaoke version of the single...

... just like JNVOP single....

but again why they keep use the album cover for the 1st single... don't get it at all...

 

well I think Sony use the same covers... because when people have seen the single in the stores and they like the song and buy the single, or don't because they want the album... that when the album is released people think oooh look there is the album where the single is from... I'll buy it!

That may be a reason for them, but in that case I find it a very outdated strategy in music market (and also stupid). They're in year 2007, if any singer is well known in the world is someone like Céline Dion (at least it was well known before Vegas ), and if someone likes the single, he/she would ask for sure for the album and look for it independently of knowing or not the cover of the album

 

And if there was the case that this person didn't know who's Céline , he/she would ask in the shop for the title of the single

 

 

Let me add some point for those who doesn't care about the content of the single: this is the first single in Céline's french career since 1991 that doesn't include an inedit track of the album on the first single: we have had always a bonus track of the album in all her french albums except this one!

 

-for Dion Chante Plamondon we had Ziggy and Les Unes Contre Les Autres (on Je Danse Dans Ma Tête)

-for D'eux we had Priere Paienne (on PQTME)

-for S'il Suffisait D'Aimer we had Sur Le Même Bateau (on Zora Sourit)

-and for 1F&4T we had Tu Nages (on Tour L'or Des Hommes).

 

They keep going from bad to worse with single releases!

It doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things that the album and single have the same cover now, really? The song is brilliant, the picture is beautiful...so we should be happy! I am!

According to this European Amazon site, there will be a UK edition of ET S'IL N'EN RESTAIT QU'UNE released 23 April! Could we be getting a plastic cover? I HOPE SO!

Yes, an UK single is on the way. Amazon Germany is preselling it already, but no tracklisting details are available. And it's terribly expensive, for whatever reason.

But this is good! It means it's going to be sold officially not only in French speaking countries! I'm keeping my fingers crossed...
