Why not? I mean I live in SA and we speak Afrikaans, which is very very far from French (the closest I will probably ever come to anything French is my name ), and I have to admit that Celine's French stuff is so much better than her English stuff (even though I don't always understand everything 100%). My family thinks I'm crazy because I listen to French songs.

Hey its simple....

 

I came across/fell in love with Celine, when ''TT'' exploded in the uk way back in the early 90's, and have followed, and supported her and her fans ever since.

I know some french, and love some of her french songs, and own nearly all of her albums both french and english from the 90's to present, but I'm missing a few earlier french albums, which I eventually intend buying and listening to, but Celine speaks to be most, and moves me most in english is all!

I absolutely agree! What would be of these long breaks in her career without her french recordings!! Soooo boring in some way . Thank God she recorded Dion Chante Plamondon, S'il Suffisait D'aimer, Incognito and all the Marnay songs! Those are big pearls in her career ocean.
