Am I crazy or has Celine performing in Riyadh for the "1001 Seasons of Elie Saab" been completely absent of any news or publicizing? Is it a figment of my imagination? She looks great! She didn't move around a lot, and her voice might have failed at the end (a lot of background singing and dancing, but she never sang another note.) Here is a link to the video of her performance.

Because of her dress. Her movements are limited. Obviously, she wanted to move around but can’t. I’m sure Celine will be mention in headlines with Camilla and JLo later

Wonderful to see her on stage and performing but the TPOL for me felt like her 90s voice not a mix from 90s and TCWT. I was never one to know if lipping or not but can hear when it is her voice from 30 years ago vs more mature voice. So wonder why not a recording from say 2010s of TPOL? This is what stood out to me, I just don't want to see the same reaction we got after the Olympics about lipping.

first verse must be studio version pitched down but “cuz I’m your lady” through the end is the 2011 track that was used through the Courage tour. The transition isn’t great, though arguably less obvious than the 1994 track with the live verse in 2009.

I was watching her performance again. Can you imagine this version of I'm Alive in Vegas. She would be wearing a better dress to move in, big screens with visuals ,and people really into it and singing. I believe it would be awesome. I really liked this.

I think Celine can sing better now than before her diagnosis. We just haven’t seen the stage for it yet, both performances so far a huge productions with logistic problems to sing live, all performances tonight and at the Olympics, were prerecorded.

Ok I definitely don't have any kind of ear to pick up key changes or even pitch changes, for me can just tell when it sounds pretty much the same as hear on all the recordings of the song.

So she re-recorded it again in 2011?

yes, except for the first verse. Same with It’s All Coming Back. My Heart Will Go on is an interesting one. Fully lipped to a 2011 track except for the humming, fully live in August 2015 through October 1 2016, then she lipped the climax to the 2011 track starting on October 4, with 2017 tour and 2 2019 performances being the only exceptions.

She’s not gonna have much choice but to re-record new vocals/tracks if she’s back in Vegas nightly.
