This is a great angle too… she asks her body guard “where is she”?

And you can see Adele mouth to Celine, “thank you for coming to my show, I love you”.

Not to be over analyzing, but did anyone else catch the delay it took for Celine to stand and hug her, the video wasn’t clear I wonder if she took longer because she was crying…

yes, she was crying before Adele gets near... so she must be kind of paralised... or knowing Celine like we do, she didn't wanted to be the center of attention when the show was from Adele...

I’m excited with her new manager John, and how he handles new albums. He seems to be fans of other artists and will probably encourage Celine to have collaborations with artists she hasn’t before.
I can’t wait to see the direction her albums take with a new team.

She wore a low-key, classy “I’m not the center of attention” dress. She wanted the attention to remain on Adele.

I think it's also because of how Adele reacted when she approached Celine. She touched her face, gave her a hug, told her she loved her... I think that's what most of us would do as well.

I'd love to know what was going through her mind in both those moments... the one with Adele and the other when Adele calls her out.

I agree with the above that I think when Adele came over during her walkthrough that she really did want to keep the attention on Adele. It's her show. And we all know Celine is so classy. But I think Adele gave her "permission", if I can use that word, to take the spotlight. We all know if it wasn't for A New Day... Adele wouldn't even be there.

That second moment when she's waving after Adele asks the audience to give it up for Miss Celine Dion... I really think while she's waving just before she stands up that she must have been like "Oh f**k it" and stands up. I don't know if Adele motioned for her to stand up or if it was on her own volition, but regardless, I'm so glad Celine got her flowers for literally building the Colosseum and igniting the wave of residencies we have today. Both moments were absolutely epic. I'm still emotional.

Okay. so it explains why it looks all so fake emotions. Why crying like this ? Even a fan who meets Celine for the time does not act so exagerated. Everything in her manners is too much.

You clearly have not seen Because You Loved Me (A Tribute to the Fans) from A New Day... nor Celine: Through The Eyes Of The World from the Taking Chances tour.

I am still very touched . Not only did Celine and Adele show what true respect and  admiration looks like ,but I have the opinion that it must have been a very hard night for Celine. I mean think about it going back to the Colosseum after such a long time. The house that was built for her,the house where she spent so many years. Can you imagine all  the memories that she had? I don't know if she went backstage, but that must have been really hard. Revisiting memories of her career, Rene, her kids growing up in that theatre.Wow,it's a lot.

It looks like Céline went backstage just before the show ended as there is a walk way and door on that side of the theatre… for VIP’s & family.
The box office knows who will be in attendance on the night just like how Céline knew certain celebs would be at her shows before hand.

It was so cute of Shari sitting behind her rubbing her back and shoulders… it must have been weird for her sitting there with her whole family in a place built for her… watching someone she admirers and maybe thinking of the days that she was on stage there looking at the same area where her parents, Rene and a young RC would sometimes sit watching her.

Yes and sitting right next to the sound booth where Rene would sit.

And watching someone performing and just getting all the love from their fans had to be hard for Celine too when she so wants to be back on stage. Hopefully soon that will be Celine signing to her fans.

I feel that some celebrities might arrive just a few minutes before a show starts to avoid a frenzy.  I know when I went to see A New Day, on  Dec 14th, 2007, the day before the show closed, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes attended and they arrived within minutes of the show starting and left as MHWGO started.

I thought about that of all the places to sit, she sits right next to the sound booth where Rene would sit. As I said it must have been a hard night for Celine.

She obviously knew but everything about their interaction suggests to me that they did not meet before the show. Also, I’m not too confident they met afterwards either as I’m sure we would’ve seen a pic by now.

you can have your opinion. But to say it is fake , i don't think so. It is like  saying the Menendez brother's were lying about their parent's abuse in  court. Put the behavorial panel to anlayse this , and they will say it is totally true.

We can actually see from videos people posted Adele actually tells Celine… “they just told me you were here”. So yes she obviously knew, however, it’s one thing to be told someone is there mid show and another to finally track them send embrace them. I’m very happy for Adele, she’s seen Celine one of her idols live multiple times… but when the legend returns the favor, I’d assume as the little girl in Adele felt she made it. This is probably  how Celine felt with Micheal Jackson came to see her. It’s a big fricken deal.

I’m so happy for Céline and Adele as this has come full circle.

I’m soooo excited for what is to come, but also sad that we may never be seated in the colosseum again watching Céline perform in a place built for her with so many memories for us as fans as well.
