The very beginning of this is on the fade-out of the song... I'm not into remixes so much, but I like this one exactly because of the new vocals!

And speaking of remixes, it's not really an unreleased vocal, but since it's between so many layers in the normal version, many people may pass unnoticed by it:



I love this vocal line at 4:10... It's one of the longest notes she did on studio...

No, I was talking about I Drove All Night in the first line... the last thing in the fade out of the song is the beginning of the new vocals of the remix...

The second line is for To Love You More...
I should have made it more clear...

I think it was supposed to be the original debut single. If I'm not mistaken, ANDHC was the last song chosen for the album. It's kind of like a response to TTWII in a way, lyrically at least.

I don’t particularly care for these performances of I Surrender — but I love seeing that Celine’s songs are still thriving on these singing competition shows after all these years. Goes to show that Celine and Whitney songs are still THE power ballads.

  • YouTube Music: more than 83 million audio streams! Also, the live performance video of "I Surrender" from "A New Day..." has more than 53.1 million views on Celine's YouTube channel!
Very impressive for a song that unfortunately wasn't ever released as a single! Posted Image Proof of how much this song is still loved by fans, and of Celine's God given amazing talent!
