Its not going to suddenly go anywhere when its not even a technically a single.

Well, yes. They should make it an oficial single. It's so sad that Sony doesn't put any effort into Celines chart performance. But look at The Gift. It's an official single and the only thing they did ti promote it was putting up one  billboard.

It’s also kind of a dated sounding song… although I think it’s a good song.

I take these new songs as a gift for us fans until Celine (hopefully) returns.

Like I mentioned in another thread, I’ve been listening to Tina Turner’s albums and her music didn’t make that big of a splash after the early 90s. But it didn’t matter because she was always going to sell out shows as long as she performed.

Celine’s in the same boat.

The new puzzle piece is… if Celine’s not able to regularly perform anymore, how will she proceed with her career? Because that’s where she’s remained in the big leagues.

Celine's business model is based on the personal factor. She promotes in person, she reaches fans at her shows by being really intimate and accessible, historically she has moved the needle with her personal touch. Celine as a person is absent, there's nothing there to work with. The material is not the single or the album, it never has been. It's the person. There's nothing to promote.

She's never relied on marketing tricks or surprise collabs to get sales, spins, plays, etc. She's always just gone out in front of the public and made her case for her music. She's unique in the industry; her power resides in her personally, not just her brand. Hence why the post-millennium Celine was a constant personal narrative, her music as a kind of diary documenting the stages of her life. Motherhood, empowerment, loss, liberation. Now, the narrative is frozen. There won't be anything to promote until she opens herself up to the media again.

I'm just posting this thought of mine that I have since years for not saying decades on this Thread as it is about a movie soundtrack

Why on Earth do the different medium count "The Boyguard", "Waiting to Exhale" "The Preacher's wife" OST's as counted as per Whitney (May she rest in Peace) overall selling albums, the same with Madonna's "I'm Breathless" and "Evita" albums (And other example for other artists that we can cite...)

Sure thing they are the Lead major artists with 60 to 75% of these albums' songs being sung by these stars, though other artists (And not the least know ones) have been involved and singing their proper songs too on the said albums, soundtracks or musicals

At this Pace, well, Céline is the only singing artist (Sissel is not listed as a Lead artist on the album), on Titanic's smashing soundtrack, let's then add up something like 28 Million records or so to her bucket!

Let's count too her participation to "Sleepless in Seattle" OST(4 million+ albums sold only in the US), her participation to 1991's animated "Beauty and the Best" OST (3 million+ albums sold in the US territory), and to the 20  something movie/series sountrack she is part of as being into her "Accounting sales"

Just right on, the "somehow virtual competition', as long as we talk about albums sales, would then, and only then be fair!!

In the dialogue the head of the studio says that the take dates from VO for "Love Again" - VO being "voiceover", so the photo seems quite recent (fall/winter 2022?)

The photo was taken in Hideout Recording Studio at LV, as you wrote, so that day she was there. But whether she is “all the time” at home, no one knows; probably yes (even her supposed stay in the Denver and Rochester clinics has not been officially communicated).

If Billboard counts the bodyguard towards Whitney's sales, given that only HALF of the songs in the album are hers... I don't see any reason for them not to count Love Again's sales towards Celine's sales, when ALL the songs are hers.

Well he’s still wearing a mask and if it’s voiceover then it had to be before the movie’s release so probably sometime in January. Looks like she’s experiencing lots of inflammation and some gum loss. Praying for her.

She doesn’t look any worse here than some photos from
The courage sessions…. Lighting and makeup and hair always play a factor with Celine.

As far as gum loss, I’m either blind or not seeing that.

If it's actually for Love Again, that wouldn't quite fit the timelines. But I hope it actually is from 2023, it would be a good sign that Céline is well

I read people saying she's leaning on him which might indicate that she couldn't stand on her own, but we are looking too much into anything since her SPS announcement, I'm pretty sure she was in good condition otherwise she wouldn't have been there that day. It's good to know this was taken only a few months back!

This is the same mental gymnastics with people that say she got SPS from the vaccine. Always looking for things to equate.

A picture could easily be taken of the two of them sitting down. I don’t believe she would have stood up or anyone would have asked her to if she was having trouble standing.
